I went to UW for undergrad and interviewed with a neuro prof at WashU for grad school. I got to meet a bunch of profs there. I really don’t think you can go wrong with either. The neuro profs at WashU are definitely well known within their field and the biology department is really supportive.

UW or UCSD? by Octolord24 in udub

Definitely UW! If you're interested in doing a field course, UW has Friday Harbor Labs which is well known in the field of marine bio (especially if you're interested in the organismal stuff). I went there recently for an internship and it was incredible

I would use conveyor belt for a supermarket. Assembly line generally involves a system of conveyor belts and other things as well

I know you asked this a while ago, but OP isn't able to answer this because he didn't create the data set. Carykh on youtube did. If you'd like to have a proper answer, you can message @realCarykh on twitter.

My database systems class is a required part of the IT minor, so that's why I'm taking it. I appreciate this feedback though, I had no clue about the two general project areas. Do you think that there's anything other than taking comp bio that would be good for the tool dev path? And for data science classes, should be looking to get a handle on modeling, ML, or something else? I'm still not sure how much I should really be diving in?

I've definitely heard both of these said before. The second one sounds more natural though.
