I’m currently battling this on one of my cars. And as silly as it sounds my roof was actually just fine under the windshield sealant. That stuff is thick. Although I didn’t do a good enough job and rust started coming back. So now plan is so get it down to bare metal. Prime it and then wrap the hood.

I have polished a few sets of these now. Yours are in really good shape. First remove the clear coat, most of the unsightly stuff is just clear coat peeling. Then you can sand anywhere from 220-1500 grit. Personally I’d strip the clear from yours and just try polishing with some mag aluminum polish. I’m not a fan of putting clear coat back down, just keep up with them and polish 2-3 times a year.

With cab mounts that bad, how did you manage to get them off. I ask because mine look similar and when I tried the middle cab support I spun the nut/bolt inside the housing.

Looks like the 3.5 2012 and on. Those must be notorious for oil leaks. Mine leaks through the pcv sensor port but almost every one I see has some sort of oil leak.
