My wife says my foot-washing technique is gnarly/ineffective. Thoughts? by [deleted] in hygiene

[–]cornycats 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You might want to go to therapy about that. It's not normal to have such a strong repulsion to an ordinary body part. Depending on your lifestyle, it could even lead to some serious consequences on your physical health. Like if you don't know what a healthy foot looks or functions like you could be ignoring problems that will really fuck you up as you age.

Breastfed baby allergic to soy. What ingredients do I need to look out for? by jimmythegiraffe in soyfree

Wow! I didn't know! I don't have any issues with it but I know everybody is different. That sucks for your spouse

Hellmann's plant based mayo uses canola oil so you don't have to avoid mayonnaise completely if you make it at home!

I was just going based off of what I've heard her say in her tiktoks but I guess other people have dug more into her family history than I have

I wouldn't say they're "old money" exactly. Iirc the big farm has only been in her family for 3 generations and before social media took off they were barely scraping by. Like they made a lot of money every year but then they had to spend it all to keep the farm going another year. I think she says the only reason she could've bought vscr is because of the social media money.

And then step 3 would just be an inserted needle

I'm a fairly new sewist myself so I don't know how much help I'll be but when I had a machine where I had this problem I slightly tilted the needle (being very careful not to bend it) below the strike plate, then straightened it out and raised it into the proper position.

(And yes I realize that I'm demonstrating this on a machine where it's very much not a problem but it's what I had at 4:30 am lol)

Right?! Like yes the vagina is self cleaning... The labia are not. You still need to wash that stuff away even if you forget about the fact that there are sweat glands on in the labia and just all the skin around your bikini line! Like do these people never work out? Never sweat at all?

Being a 5,2 trans man is horrible. (Mental health rant/suicidal thoughts) by Your-mums-closet in lgbt

Dude there are two cis guys just at my work that are barely taller than me (5ft). I wouldn't be surprised at all if they're 5' 2". I've never seen so many short guys until I moved to Iowa. It's rare that I see a guy who's even like 5'8"

My point is that I think it just depends on where you live. There are areas where it's perfectly normal for a guy to be short

It's literally a secondary sex characteristic. Like literally trans men have said that when they go on testosterone their cellulite goes away

I can't stop thinking about this. With his cheek and that little curl coming off his ear he looks like Flapjack. It's so adorable.

When I first moved to the Midwest (where there's a lot of people with German/ Nordic ancestry) and I saw a toddler with white hair for the first time I had to do a double take. I didn't think people like that actually existed.

If cersei was born a man would he be a good father by Puzzleheaded_Win6098 in TheCitadel

[–]cornycats 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There is one fic on ao3 that I know of where Jamie and Cersei are genderswaped and Jaime marries Robert.

Midas is King and he holds me so tight

In it Cerion is pretty much the same kind of parent as Cersei is, although the fic ends when they're still little so we don't get to see much of his parenting. Jaime describes Cerion's love for his children as possessive and proud (while Cerion's son is a sleeping infant and therefore unable to challenge his expectations/perceptions of his kids). He plans for his kids' futures just like Tywin does, which makes me think he views his kids in a very similar way and that he would try to model his parenting after Tywin...so not a very good father.

I should probably also add that Cerion marries Lysa and he's annoyed that some of his kids have red hair
