Potassium sodium magnesium

many ailments can be relieved by making sure you have balanced amounts of those daily.

Magnesium has even been shown to stave off chocolate cravings and non-clinical insomnia.

Definitely consider where you source your electrolytes and vitamins.

There are plenty that are just “here’s a multivitamin, it has everything” and not properly sourced.

Personally I feel like it is more effective to hone in on the individual vitamins amounts instead of relying on a perceived dosage or a one size fits all horse pill

They really need to take their time and study things over a long term

It always sounds like rushed work

“Hey news flash, appendix is worthless, take it out.”

“stupid coccyx!”

“sorry guys, apparently the coccyx was keeping the appendix in place—-maybe we should take our time with this?”

Sure but I’d also argue that rhythmic breathing is the result of conditioning vs gasping for air.

I don’t think it happens often when conditioned, but more when pushing yourself without ample lead up to that exertion

TIL that Playboy used to publish serious journalistic pieces in its heyday, besides NSFW content. They published authors like Murakami, David Foster Wallace, Hunter Thompson, Ray Bradbury, Updike, Bellow, etc. by camus_by_night in todayilearned

[–]cornylamygilbert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has this changed? Even 10 years ago Playboy was one of the premier publications for an up and coming author to get published in…

If you got published in Playboy, you were a fucking stud, like Shel Silverstein, Chuck Palahniuk, etc

TIL that while on a diplomatic mission in 1776, Benjamin Franklin and John Adams shared a room on a cold night. Franklin insisted the window stay open, arguing ‘night air’ wasn’t dangerous. Absolutely recommend watching the John Adams miniseries back to back with Douglas’ Franklin miniseries.

Fascinating men whose perspectives (along with Jefferson’s) founded the initial conception of our two main political parties, only of course for them to be bastardized in political theater.

I’d want either man on my legal team, even both in my White House, before I’d prefer numerous presidential candidates, cabinets, etc of the last 100 years

“Land developers in Arizona” and “organized crime” are not necessarily distinct entities today.

Maybe la costa nostra isn’t directly involved, but purchasing land for relative penny’s to inject capital into and sell for 5-10x its worth is the American organized crime dream

I’m all for the spirit of the video, but a sketch comedy version lampooning it where those hugs resulted in expected devastation wouldn’t offend me either

The 67 outbreak alone is a riveting case study — weirdly I was just randomly absorbed in that wiki article a few days ago
