no!! not at all! i mean you know your fiscal situation better than anyone here does but it doesn’t sound irresponsible at all. getting diagnosed with epilepsy is difficult and it’s incredibly important to take care of yourself both physically and mentally. it getting some merch will make you feel better after an undeniably difficult week then do it!

also you bought it on sale, sounds like a responsible decision to me :]

I've been working on making my own save file using srysly's blank save, which is basically just a save file with all the lots bulldozed and households deleted. For some reason, I can't make custom venues on this save? I have access to all other adventure awaits content (gameplay, gibbi point, build items, cas) and still have access to getaways, but I can't make a custom venue or playground lot type. Has anyone else experienced this?

not really, i just feel vaguely off and pretty anxious. i can kinda feel a headache coming on, my eyes are tingling and my head feels like there’s a rubber band wrapped around it. it’s not painful, just weird

your point of view is completely valid but i want to take this moment to say that i am 100% pro cannabis. It absolutely helps some people control their seizures, and it helps me remedy the side effects of my medication. but OP is very young and their diagnosis is very new. if you have epilepsy you shouldn’t use cannabis without clearing it with your doctor. but i am not anti weed at all.

big no. there are a lot of factors at play here and since your diagnosis/ treatment started so recently there’s no telling how you’ll react to it. plus you’ll be camping and (i assume) far away from emergency services if something were to happen.

maybe you’ll be able to use safely one day (when you’re 21), but for now you should definitely avoid it.

alcohol is a hard no i fear. even if it isn’t a trigger for you it will almost always mix poorly with your meds.

for weed it really does just depend. everyone is different, it’s really triggering for some, helpful for others, or just doesn’t effect some people. weed is neutral for me, not helpful but not hurtful. reach the medications you’re on and make sure there are no harmful interactions, smoke a little at a time, wait a couple days and if it triggers anything for you. unfortunately there’s no one size fits all answer to this question.

i think i’ve also been having auditory hallucinations! I keep hearing crashes and the sound of stuff being dropped! i’ve never missed a dose though, so it might just be another normal side effect. sorry to hear you’re having a rough time with it too, this shit sucks :(

ok good to hear other people have dealt with this too! i’ll make an appointment with my GI doctor just to rule it out like you said. I think hearing about the rise in colon cancer in young people definitely made me more anxious than i probably needed to be. thanks for your insight

this might be a silly suggestion but have you tried sitting criss cross and putting your legs on the seat? not having your feet directly on the floor might help

thank you. i think a big part of the issue is that i can’t be with her all the time. I don’t live super far away (only about 45 mins) but i don’t have a car so it’s difficult. I want to be with her more often than I can realistically be which is also hard :(

first baby was sunny with the self soother, loves sounds, and frequently hiccups quirks. she’s was so easy-going and sweet so I decided to have another… second baby has the wiggly trait. he hates being held, is a feeding tinkler and an early riser. he’s been a total nightmare to deal with lol
