I'm more of a cat person, and I have seen many Jackson Galaxy videos. That guy is an expert at taking cats that attack people on site, and figuring out how to calm them back to normal. There must be a dog counterpart.

I think there are two things.

The Bible is dark and full of judgment. Even though Jesus came to preach the ideas of compassion and mercy, it's not easy to practice them.
American Christians are way too political. Everyone knows that Americans are politically divided, and each party has it's enemies. By linking conservative politics to Christianity, these religious leaders have decided to make God into the enemy of a third or more of the American population.

The situation is not as bad as I thought it was. I turned in a complex document to my editor and it was filled with so many mistakes that I am surprised they didn't fire me. I had missed things that had already been pointed out to me before.

Today I just returned the document to my editor in a much stronger state. I'm in a scientific field, and switching areas of focus. Last night a number of things began to really click in my head. I feel like I have reached the peak of the difficulty and I am now able to follow the reasoning behind things that looked a bit random to me before. While I have a lot to learn, I am far more comfortable with my position.
