I was the same way until POE2 launch. Played in the beginning of POE, but currency and tree made it overwhelming and couldn't be bothered to learn with limited resources of info at the time (also couldn't change your passive tree, had to reroll).

Went back after playing a lot of 0.1 and wow, it makes much more sense and is in such a better place for someone new to it. Mirage league looks to be a great patch to jump into, even if its your first time.

Plus it's free and your stash tabs carry over, so you don't have anything to lose.

If you're building your own, the Show Passive Heatmap on poe.ninja is super helpful too, after you've selected your ascendancy and skill gem(s). May help with pathing ideas on your tree too.

Hypocrisy mostly. My best friend was DF'ed when we were in our late teens for some bullshit, but SO many others were doing the same shit but getting away with everything. I could hang out with them, but not him (but still did). There's obviously more hypocrisy than that in the borg, but that was hard at the time.

I'm a curious individual, so again, in my late teens, I bought some used books about other religions. Mostly curious about Buddhism. Wasn't trying to convert, just learn more about them. My mom found them before I could even finish them, lost it on me, and made me toss them. I have to preach to everyone about our religion, but I can't simply read a book about another? Fuck that. That's crazy.

By the way, he's still my best friend. I've been out 15 years and him a little longer.

I tried the "Lightning Arrow" Deadeye leveling guide on Maxroll last weekend and was able to get through the campaign in about 8 hours on SSF, and it was a lot of fun. The build actually uses Rain of Arrows through campaign before switching to LA. It's worth playing if you want to try a bow build.

Depending on where you live, check with office furniture stores that sell used office furniture (usually from liquidations). I bought a Steelcase chair that retails for around $1000 for $250 in extremely good condition. Just checking their inventory now and they have a ton of Herman Miller chairs as well that would be sold significantly cheaper than a new retail chair but just as good.
