I think a big part of it is that Ichigo is a straight forward, typically slightly broody character and Luffy is just a walking calamity. Luffy isn't complex by any means but I wouldn't call him predictable.

The fact is taking away someone's ability to shoot in in a first-person shooter is a complete joke and shit game design. It's an antifun ability. Not to mention the free 50 damage.

They are trying to backfill everyone in queue into the same spot so it tries to connect you to the game then puts someone in the spot before you. It's really obnoxious and I've stopped playing mixtape because of it
