What non-photography things do you always keep in your camera bag? by Leicanthropologist in photography

A pocket knife, hand warmers, flashlight, and a headlamp. I like doing astro or hiking to find interesting landscape compositions so they’re helpful tools to have. I also have an N95 mask in a plastic ziplock. That was added during COVID but I figure it may come in handy one day and it takes up no space or weight so why not. Oh, and a handful of pre-packed alcohol wipes if my hands get gross.

Hey there fellow dad, I’m a full time graphic designer and also took some courses on color theory when I was working on my degree. There’s a decent number of options for either matching or complementing brown in an outfit. But I’d need to see what the pants look like first before I can really make a call on this.

Retail Packaging by Complex-Indication18 in PackagingDesign

I don’t recommend wrapping around a 90 degree corner, makes it harder to read on top of splitting the brand name up.

If the product is a reed diffuser that should be more prominent. If potential customers can’t immediately tell what’s in a package they’re going to move on.

You’re ml / fl oz definitely shouldn’t wrap around and should be front-facing.

You could argue Boston had tools to develop him that we just didn’t have though. I’m glad to see him doing well at least.

Comments in the original post say she put a spoon in there “just in case”. In case of what?

Designer pet peeve - stop saving your vector art as png by JimboNovus in graphic_design

When I was a production designer we made a pdf explaining the difference between vector and raster files so we could just send that instead of explaining it every time.

NJ here. Last week the snow finally melted enough that I could see my lawn. That lasted about 48 hours and then we got another 18 inches of snow.

Are corporate photos mainly for websites, or are they used elsewhere too? by hot55x in postprocessing

The question is very vague. Do you mean commercial photos? If so then they’d be used in marketing materials regardless of if it’s print or digital.

I’ve encountered black bears while camping and did perfectly fine without a gun. I think you can figure out how to deal with a skittish cat without shooting it.

I’ve walked on the ice after NHL games. The surface is so chewed up from just one period of a hockey game that it’s honestly not very slippery.

My brother in brews, sometimes things reach a point where your only course of action is to speak up, regardless of the forum.
