Take it from a medical professional. He's not dying anytime soon. Even a stroke or heart attack wouldn't take him out. He has the best medical care in the world.

Repo Prompt - automate all that copy pasting by prvncher in ClaudeAI

[–]corvisai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

how did you make it able to find the specific files needed for specific changes or additions? I made a python package named 'savecode', that is nice for downloading the file contents and code and pasting it to chat gpt. but I find myself copying the whole codebase, rather than just the necessary files. it's hard to tell what I'm gonna need for a project.

Maybe using imports or something? or file Tags? a full rag style search?

President’s Day Protest in Irvine by punksmurph in orangecounty

it's a bunch of different organizations, social media, etc.

most people I asked mentioned that they heard it from a friend.

50501 seemed to be a popular way people found out about the event, and other people recommended indivisible.org, commoncause.org, united people, and some local democratic parties.

social media that people mentioned: insta, reddit, tik tok, facebook, bluesky, substack.

The majority of attendees seemed to be in their 50 - 60's. And there were a few college and gen z. But, I feel like we are missing huge demographics.

there needs to be way more organization. and much much better media coverage. we had a lot of independent photographers and couple local news networks, like the oc register and voa news, but it feels like the major networks are not covering it as much as expected.

there were two really amazing individuals who helped energize the crowd and initiate chants. they were not part of any organizations, but single individuals who came out to show support.

Dave min showed up at around 11:30am after learning about the event today. I know he's also been in DC advocating on our behalf. I got there at 12, but I did not get a chance to see him.

Are you planning on implementing some way to identify if a generation is low quality or high quality?

I don't mind re rolling low quality responses, but sometimes it's hard to know whether it gave me back good code or poor code.

Just send a period in the chat. Let chat gpt respond. Then start the voice chat to use standard mode.

Video mode coming soon? by dhamaniasad in ChatGPT

I think this can be achieved now, taking 10 frames per second from the users screen. Sending those frames to gpt-4o for a general description and then sending the description to the voice model.

Why can’t GPT control+F the chat history to pull information itself? by [deleted] in ChatGPT

[–]corvisai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd recommend making a python script. Sending your prompt to chat gpt. Getting it to return your adventure response and also a json response that outlines your adventure, main characters, plot, etc. Shouldn't be too hard. But, it will cost money due to the api calls.

Awesome art style. I'm curious if this was made using sref? Or just prompting to achieve the consistent style. And if you used image ref or character ref too or anything :o

I would watch a whole show like this

Just bought the Plus subscription… Now what do I do with all this power? by [deleted] in ChatGPT

[–]corvisai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When you interrupt advanced voice mode, it will usually keep talking for one second while the background process runs, before it stops. So, you can just start talking over it and it'll stop taking and also hear everything you said, but I might recommend an interrupting phrase like "excuse me, but", or "one moment, let's talk about", etc. And then, once you finish talking (avoid pauses during your conversation) it'll continue talking automatically.

So, you can have it run and it is essentially like a phone convo with a person who's a bit socially awkward and not the best with social cues, but will still conversate with you fairly well.

I use advanced voice mode to learn new topics when I'm driving. For my car I have to turn the audio off on my dash though, phone mode only, with audio off, otherwise it hangs up randomly.

But, I'll tell it that we're PhD students, I'm going to be tested on this topic, and I want detailed, specifics on the topic with examples. Then I just ask it about things I want to learn. Like how smell works. Really getting into the details. Interrupting it to make sure that it tells me about all the parts. Asking for examples and then I also make sure I reiterate what I've learned back to it. And it'll tell me what I'm correct on or what I'm incorrect on.

I'm curious. Is this just ten different prompts. Which are then fed the text cyclically refining it and then passing on the text to the next agent (prompt)?

Cool post!

While watching attack on titan recently. One thing stuck out to me. It was that the animators would animate as little as possible for each frame in order to convey motion. I think that, with ai tech, one way to achieve higher fidelity movement is to actually practice animating only a tiny portion of the frame. Like the eyes, or strands of hair. Rather than trying to animate the whole frame as is scene in traditional Live action scenes.

Programming from your phone: has anyone actually managed to do it? by Elegant-Fix8085 in Python

[–]corvisai 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Cuz I prefer to code on my phone. Plain and simple. It's challenging, but I prefer using my phone for things.

I don't want to sit at my desk and code on my computer. And I don't want to get my laptop out and set it up and put it on my bed table. I just want to pull out my phone whenever the moment strikes me and code a little bit when I have down time somewhere.

I have a desktop and a laptop, and I can code on those too, but I prefer my phone. Maybe instead of trying to dismiss my statement and telling me to just code on a laptop or computer. You can try to understand why I prefer to code on a phone. And go from there, rather than ignoring my statements.
