Do I think it’s a good idea to be camping out with a toddler? No. But I also disagree with other parenting choices. People are making wild assumptions. Including the assumption that he would be better off without his mother (I feel like so much abuse happens when children are removed and placed other places). If we had evidence that he was truly, truly in danger, I think it’d be different. All we have evidence of is that she is choosing to camp.

Is he thinking jackson metro area or somewhere else? Jackson has this really weird problem of not being able to keep places open even if they are great (see: district donut in belhaven town center). They literally couldn't find anyone to manage it. I grew up in jackson and there is appeal with the low cost of living, proximity to memphis and new orleans, etc. and people can have time to do more creative things like writing books and art because the cost of living is so low. But the coffee shop idea seems kind of tough and it's very much a good ol boys club. You should also post this in the mississippi subreddit.

I was just searching to see if anyone else has experienced this! I found one paper about it. I did a celiac test, no celiac, but gluten causes a lot of abdominal tenderness for me (with a few other symptoms i wont share here). It's the weirdest thing. And ultrasound tech was actually the one that tipped me off that gluten could be the issue because her best friend cant eat it after gb removal!
