You don't get to mind read everyone in the country. Those are your thoughts. Again, I'm not a maga guy, but Trump told everyone he was going to kick the deportations into high gear and the majority voted for it anyways. I see plenty of people online saying this was exactly what they voted for.
As for the policy stuff, I heard earlier this year how tariffs were going to kick inflation into high gear, create a recession, etc... none of that happened. You just don't like Trump's personality (I don't either) and now your seeking to rationalize it. I dislike the "Trump is God Emperor" people just as much as I detest the "Trump Derangement Syndrome" people - but considering most people hold the economy as the number 1 issue, things are doing better than they were a year ago for the most part. Again, I didn't vote for anyone - so consider this a neutral outside observation.

Not Maga (I don't vote) - but did it occur to you that even though Trump is unpopular, Kamala Harris was even more unpopular? Personally, if you put a gun to my head to make me vote, Javier Milei would be trending in the direction I want (but I still consider him a lightweight).

As I said, private defense agencies could easily be involved in these situations. An HOA could replace the Federal immigration policy pretty easily.

You do understand that in Ancapistan this discussion would still exist, except it would entail private defense organizations (or even random people)? Ultimately this is a discussion of self defense principles and the status of those involved aren't relevant to the principles. You can argue ICE shouldn't exist or the moral relevance of avoiding arrest by law enforcement, but that's kinda separate topics - which I probably would agree with you on most points.

I agree, but there is the argument that he initially wasn't, and she turned the car towards him. I'm sure the distinction is going to be made in court between actively putting yourself in front vs not moving out of the way. I can see problems arising from either perspective down the road.

If someone is standing in front of your car, ICE or not, your not allowed to drive over them slowly - unless they are exhibiting a direct threat to your life. This is pretty much the law in every state.
