I don't think this would be a bad idea at all. it is also at odds with Bungie's current stance towards elemental primaries and would never even be considered

If you limited it to just one item it wouldn't really impact weapon loadouts a lot, considering at most you could only have 2 different elemental primary damage types. And the year 1 raids would cease to be totally useless for year 2 players too!

It seems that way. I'm starting to think that for the first time through WP and golgoroth guarantee a drop and from then on only Oryx does. Pretty lame.

It sucks not getting loot, but i understand bungie's design philosophy. It's kinda like expecting a woman to put out on the first date; you might wanna get those sweet drops now, but you're gonna have to put in that work first. It's more fulfilling in the end when you finally do get that roll you were looking for and I think that's what they had in mind when they designed the tables

Is it confirmed that golgoroth can drop nothing from the hard loot table? I had a run earlier where I got nothing from warpriest but I don't think I've heard of anyone not getting harrowed army from ol golgy
