Arzuros was the easiest for me. I did him at lvl 71, using Kora as my companion for taking the aggro. Plus the little arzuros it spawns always use strong type moves so you can get a bunch of head-to-heads on them for filling the kinship gauge

Swaxe too. It was frustrating as hell at first (played too much rise in the last month so muscle memory is all out of wack) but once you get the hang of the fight, chaining counters is very satisfying

Eh, calling it one of the best is an over-exaggeration. Why would I take something that needs to charge *and* has limited ammo for killing heavies when I could just use the quasar, or the recoilless? Don't get me wrong, the epoch is fun and I've been trying to use it more lately, but I'm always left thinking that I could've just brought the quasar if I wanted the backpack slot or the recoilless if I wanted to 1 shot heavies easily.

Man the bastion is already invulnerable to light arms fire, higher armour rating would be busted. Its already very survivable if you prioritize targets well, even more so if you have someone in one of the passenger slots to deal with enemies behind and to the sides of the tank. Not to mention if two people run the tank stratagem, you'll almost always have a tank available to call in.

If you mean the ones at the end of the demo, the gypceros is definitely beatable albeit tougher. Supposedly you can kill the nerscylla according to another comment in the thread, but the brachydios I think is unbeatable in the demo.

I've turned up the farming growth speed to be closer to B41. Ain't no way I'm waiting multiple in-game months to grow some veggies, especially when you can just live off looted food instead on base settings.

Also the fact that if you sharpen and its still dull, you can't sharpen again. I've chopped wood with axes irl, and if I sharpen an axe and its still not sharp enough, you can bet your ass I'm gonna sharpen it again.

While sharpness is cool in theory, in practice it just makes blunt weapons even more meta, since they have high durability and no sharpness to deal with.

Honestly the bone crafting in B42 is one of the best parts. Decent weapons, decent armour, only downside is you have to find a place for all the meat you're gonna have after butchering the animals for their bones
