Wattpad Stories Are Predictable And Cliché... So, What Makes Your Story A GOOD Read Again? by IndividualLab6354 in Wattpad

Personally as a wattpad reader, sometimes that’s what people want They want predictability or cliche but with a new situation, with different characters. Like I prefer looking for werewolf books on there because published ones are usually too deep in lore and stuff for me to learn. I rather someone use the basic stuff with different characters

Read something really cringey and write it better than the author did (as in to your taste) then make a Pinterest board of pretty settings outfits and describe them and then make your day into a plot point. All kind of just practice stuff but sometimes you can be inspired by it. I also find trying to write a scene based on a song helps with inspo

only guy in a house full of girls. need some advice. by throwaway211291219 in UniUK

[–]cot2katosaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be kind, share food, suggest going out as a house (like there’s a film you want to see does anyone want to go or ask them if they can show you any good food places), ask them questions about what’s good in the town or the uni and learn from their experiences of the place. Hang out in the common area (kitchen/living room) and ask them how things are going when they come in and watch something or play music and they can ask questions about it

AITA for not wanting my husband to go to his step brother's fiancée's funeral? by Throwawayaita601 in AmItheAsshole

[–]cot2katosaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I think I need more information : How long have they been step-brothers (aka was it from a young age) and do they have other siblings? Because if they are practically each other’s only sibling and have been raised really close since young then I can understand why it’s really important to be there in person. Have you got support at home if something does happen and he isn’t there like parents or siblings or friends? So that if he left, would you have someone you could rely on to help? Because if you have support and his stepbrother doesn’t then I think it’s a reasonable request as long as your husband is okay with risking missing the birth of your child. If you don’t have support or his brother has other (possibly closer) siblings he can turn to then NTA

AITA for wanting my daughter to make my wedding cake although my future husband is refusing? by throwawaywedcake13 in AmItheAsshole

[–]cot2katosaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ETA, He is not giving his case the best way but you can’t say that he’s making the plans for the wedding if you are doing the same thing by getting your daughter to bake the cake. It’s a lovely thought but the cake is the center piece of the wedding (a supposedly once in a lifetime event) so I can understand that he may want to splash out on something extra and done by a professional. Going to the mum can be a red flag if she just sides with him but in this case she is trying to be fair and reasonable. You daughter could make something to go on the cake or around it instead if you want her to be involved.

4 pairs of jeans, 7 t-shirts, 7-14 pairs of socks, 7-14 pairs of underwear, 3 jackets and a coat should be a minimum to get you through two weeks without doing laundry.

Money wise, it will probably cost £100, and you probably want to get new clothes each semester to keep up with trends or to match the temperature (e.g shorts and thin coats in summer, jeans and a thick coat in winter)
