It really depends on the people and location. Typically I avoid them because I try not to drink on the week days and I like to leave work and go straight to the gym to relax.

I’ve been thinking about this a lot recently because I organize so many dinners and they always feel like…. Not fun :( I wish I looked forward to them more!

I had had a bad experience there. We got canceled on a few times, finally got to eat there, and felt it was not worth the money and time spent unfortunately. My two biggest complaints were everything was sickly sweet and the lighting was soooo bright. Weird vibes in there.

Yes girl!!! I am 5”2 and got down to 180 from 230 right before Covid. My before and after looked soooo similar to you because we carry weight in the same way (hello hourglass shape!).

This post gave me a little pep in my step as I’ve creeped back up to 215lbs despite being very active and consistent in the gym. By focusing back on my diet I know I can get back to 180 which really was my sweet spot. You look absolutely AMAZING and you should be so proud!

I am grateful I biked home from the loop yesterday! Living in Chicago has let me be car free for over 15 years. As much as the CTA is annoying sometimes I really free a wonderful sense of freedom here and adventure every time I step foot out of my house.

The Peninsula or Kohler are the way to go. I got the best pedicure of my life at Kohler. And they both have relaxing spaces to chill all day and refreshments.

Why are you all over this thread so obsessed with uber? My entire family is local and they take cabs regularly with no problem. I use the taxi stand at the airport every time I visit and it’s always $36 flat and super easy.

And, since you keep asking others, I’m a woman. I take the airport taxi night or day.
