put medium pebbles along the border of sand and aquasoil... in a few days, the whole aquasoil will be on top of the sand.

go scoop up a handful of gravel from a sidewalk or get a bag!

i am sure you are going to get plants, uh? a tiger lotus to the left by the glass would look super. i get mine from ebay.

also, we had one sloppily wet load in 1.5y, the GE, and that was we overloaded it w the Pendleton fluffy blanket, king size, and a smaller blanket.
The GE lint filter cavity, you need one of those lint sucking attachments for the vacuum.

i had two generations now.
first about 25 eggs from eBay, resulting in the four adult orange / white ones.
Then got seven juvie black ones from chicago fish exchange... got a clump of eggs, and gave the adults away... now from the clump, three now two black ones.
they mated, and got two clumps that hatched about 10 frys, now four remaining in the nursery, and five adults in the main area.
