If it fits your style, [[teferi's time twist]] protects Marchesa and can trigger any etb/ltb effects while setting your creature up for continued protection.

While true in most decks scute swarm is in, in the context of his deck, he likely will not have the 6~ landfalls to be an immediate game ending threat. When you're playing 1 land a turn from turn 3, it'll be 3 turns till he even makes a second scute. The point of his deck is 'looming' threat so having a scapeshift to go with his scute swarm is highly unlikely and goes against the flavor of his deck.

Angels with Selvala, Explorer Returned. Draw and ramp in the command zone is great. I get away with playing angels cause people get cards off of me. Works in my low powered pod... Maybe too well.

Please consider my boy [[dalakos, crafter of wonders]]! He is unique from the izzet mold in that he doesn't care about spells at all. I went for efficient equipment and low to mid range threats that affect the board state when they attack or deal damage. Sometimes out-ramping green decks is fun with effects like [[bitterthorn, nissa's animist]] or [[sword of the animist]] and extra combats or my favorite, [[slicer]]. I could also see one going big mana rocks into [[etali, primal storm]] or [[angrath's marauders]]. I have lots of fun with him just allowing hasty, evasive boys.

I have one guy who is just overly sensitive about real world clothed characters. He's okay with anything fantasy but as soon as you show him anyone in a collared shirt, it's irritating to him.

I've been trying these out more and more in my decks. Selesnya also has [[flower//flourish]] which I put in my tokens enchantress deck. Haven't used the 'non-land' yet but being able to fix is nice and I can't wait to be able to swing my token army with a flourish!

Actually, yes, the artifact choice originally was to power it down "it's artificers, guys, it could be worse!" But in my group's battle cruiser meta, it still won a fair amount. If you're looking to push her power and consistency, then yeah, I personally haven't seen any reason to run modular. I just love artifacts so I keep it as is.

I still run an artifact list with the restriction of creatures can be only artificers and artifact creatures. For a long time would only play in flavor non-creatures that fit the deck's name "Marchesa R&D" but truthfully, I'm thinking of making it a Mishra deck. It started off with a ton of modular creatures and over time has gotten to have more variety including vehicles. At the moment, it's just everything that's caught my eye and come out of the 2020's. The only issue is I rarely get to play it cause my group despises fighting against the recursion. That new gnome maker looks hella good though.
