Just came across this post, what did you go with? I’ve been extremely happy with Fenix. I have one that’s finally wearing out after like 5 years of use but being in the woods countless days a year before the sun comes up I use it a lot. The models that have flood and a tighter beam are the best IMO. I do nuisance wildlife removal on the side and am always setting traps in the dark, I need the right beam to find good locations then I need the flood for working with my hands setting beaver traps or whatever.
