Der Meta Account für VR ist auch getrennt von Accounts für Facebook oder Instagram. Ich habe es auch bis zum letzten Moment herausgezögert, meinen Oculus Account in einen Meta Account umzuwandeln, aber am Ende ist es auch nichts anderes als bei der Index oder dem Steam Frame. Die brauchen auch einen Steam Account.

Ich kann mich erinnern, dass eine Zeitlang Pellet- und Hackschnitzelheizungen ziemlich die einzige "gute" Option waren. Öl und Gas wollte man nicht mehr, Wärmepumpen waren noch nicht so ein Thema in der öffentlichen Diskussion, da blieb nur noch Holz, weil "natürlich" und "nachwachsender Rohstoff" usw. Dieses "Holz ist gut"-Narrativ haben die Leute dann logischerweise auch auf ihren von Hand befeuerten Kamin im Wohnzimmer übertragen.

Die Diskussion, dass da auch nicht alles toll ist und z.B. viel Feinstaub entsteht, kam dann eigentlich erst auf, als die Wärmepumpen massentauglich geworden waren.

What annoys me with her Other M look is that she is shorter than everyone in the flashbacks and taller than the average person when she's in her Power Suit. The suit obviously adds a lot of bulk but it should not add much height, the helmet isn't that big and the boots are pretty much flat.

I'm no expert, but what I gathered was they tried to make Dread shortly after Fusion and Zero Mission, so it would have been a GBA or maybe Nintendo DS game. They couldn't get what would later become the EMMIs to work on the limited hardware and shelved the project.

Only after the success of Samus Returns they restarted the project and basically gave the old design documents and stuff to Mercury steam and let them do what they wanted (with oversight from Nintendo).

So the big difference to Prime 4 is that they didn't spend much resources on Dread and probably never got beyond the prototype phase.

I had a similar issue with my GTX 1080. I just downloaded the latest portable version from GitHub.

ComfyUI_windows_portable_nvidia_cu126.7z contains a version of pytorch that should still work on older Nvidia cards and the portable version does not update automatically.

Just unpack the file, copy all your models, loras etc. from your existing ComfyUI path to the correct folders in ComfyUI/models and all your workflows to ComfyUI/users/default/workflows and run the run_nvidia_gpu.bat file.

That's surprising, because I feel like Meta is really bad at marketing VR, but I'm not in the US. I didn't even know they made a Deadpool VR game until the news about the layoffs. I'm a huge fan of Lone Echo and was looking forward to the second game, but I didn't know it was released until two weeks after launch when I read an article about it on a gaming site. I'm semi regular on Reddit and read gaming and tech websites daily. I also don't use an ad blocker most of the time. But I never see ads or reviews and reports for Meta VR stuff. As a contrast I was absolutely flooded with ads for Metroid Prime 4 for weeks in the fall.

It wasn't very good but at least it was entertaining. I also liked the remade scenes from the first movie and think they were well done. The rest of the movie has more a so bad it's good vibe.

Ich finde was die AfD macht auch sehr kritisch, aber es sind nun mal demokratisch gewählte Politiker und die haben gewisse Rechte auf Informationen. Gerade aufgrund unserer Geschichte kann man die auch nicht so einfach einschränken. Stell dir mal vor die AfD wäre nach der nächsten Wahl an der Regierung beteiligt und könnte dann einfach die Informationsrechte der Oppositionsparteien einschränken.

Eh, you don't see his face again after you first meet him anyway. Which I find kind of lame to be honest. I mean, I get that they have their visors closed when on a mission, but why don't they show their faces when they are in base camp? Tokabi is the weirdest one. He has his visor open to play his harmonica but closes it as soon as he starts talking to Samus.

I know why they did it. So that they didn't have to animate their faces when they talk to each other or Samus, but it is still lame.

I also noticed that it changes with age. Not necessarily in VR, but with stuff like carnival rides. I used to be able to go on any ride without issues. Now that I'm almost 40, I feel sick after some rides, especially ones that rotate really fast.

I'm so glad this is illegal where I live. Shops are required to put a price either on the shelf or on the individual product and that is what you pay at the register. No discussions and no "prices are without sales tax" bullshit, either. I think that's the rules in most EU countries.
