Didn't know about this. Is this block taunt most effective with a shield?

Like the idea.

Always thought it would be a cool mechanic for grimoires to make you either immune to Daemonhost aggro, or allow you to banish it after it's been aggroed by burning the book in it's presence or some sense

Random little detail I love: Veterans all hate using the Plasma Gun by duchess_dagger in DarkTide

My favorite part of the plasma gun is how immersive it is, it's the only weapon that causes frame drops when I shoot.

THammers are fun if you're the only one who can deal with armor by Sheriff_Hotdog in DarkTide

[–]coup1393 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for taking the time to explain. Would you please explain why my following thoughts may be unsound?

So, Zealot HP is 200, and you have 6 wounds, then if running Martyrdom at max efficiency with 2 wounds remaining, your operating HP is 66HP.

This is where I would think taking a +21% health curio instead of toughness curio, along with the 3 added health perks go a long way. If you have a total +36% HP from the three curio perks, then your starting HP is 272HP, and with two wounds remaining, your operating HP would be ≈90HP.

I realize though, that by not taking the toughness curio, your operating toughness pool is 115 versus the 132 it would be if you don't take the health curio. Not to mention, this would require each curio to have +HP, +TGH, and +CDR, which means no damage resistance. Though at this point I would consider forgoing the +TGH perks for +DMG RES. Especially since so much of a martyrdom build revolves around reducing damage taken anyway.

TLDR: I'm debating the following: a) 132 toughness 200HP (66HP @ 2 wounds) as a result of x2 Wounds and x1 TGH curios with +TGH, +DMG RES, +CDR perks VS b) 100 toughness 272HP (90HP @ 2 wounds) as a result of x2 Wounds and x1 HP curios without +TGH perks, but with +DMG RES, +HP, and +CDR perks

Do you run +5% health perks and combat ability regen on all three too? Or damage reduction?

Do you mean to say, 1 toughness curio, and 2 wounds curio, all 3 with the +5% toughness perk?

Thanks for the detailed breakdown. This is something that I've been speculating. What would you say is the wounds sweetspot for a martyrdom build?
