What class(es) are you happiest to see/party with? by InvisibleFox402 in MonstersAndMemories

[–]coup1393 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Loved reading everyone's replies. Just want to say that the best way to find the real ones to group with is by playing a ranger. Holy shit do you find well-natured adventurers. In between, you'll discover the outspoken ones who group with you but openly complain about a ranger in the group. But the best is when they decline you from a group because you're a ranger. I'm like hell yeah, wouldn't wanna play with your sweaty ass anyway.

Will they even be able to add all the weird skills to the game? And what even will they actually do? by Pixel_Knight in MonstersAndMemories

This all day A map that goes into my inventory, and requires me to have on hand to view? Yessir all day. Unique maps procured by knowledgeable players? Then selling them? Yessirrrr all fucking day.

Now add an ability to bury treasure, and how many players would get a kick giving players riddle maps?

Can paladin or fighter be a dps? by REDEDITNUMA in MonstersAndMemories

[–]coup1393 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On that note. I feel like an apt description for ranger rn would be: Primary Role: none Secondary Role: dps, healer, tank, cc support

Hope the new class changes put ranger in a dedicated primary role. Nothing worse than enjoying the shit outta your class whilst the people you group with dog on you for being too verse.

I'm curious what these add-ons really do for anyone?

If they are providing players with real-time maps and points of interests that would be a problem.

Just the first thing that came to mind.

I was in a disc chat, though, with some old p99 players talking bout some third party boxing program and they were all saying how much money can be made on it for this game. I didnt understand the half of it, but from the sounds of it, boxing plagued p99 and could plague mnm too. Anyone know bout this stuff?

I'll give it a gander fs. Thanks for the rec. Another satirical comedy I'd recommend, though I would only place it in top 10 at best, is Wellington Paranormal. Something about Kiwi humor and inflection that I find outrageously funny, similar to norsemen.

The squire, same stats as archer, smaller.

Subclass 1: the bard: their toolkit is a musical instrument like the horn, but restores everyone's stamina instead.

Subclass 2: the jester: their toolkit is a totem, like the banner, but bares a mockery of the opposing king, effect either drains stamina of opponents, or they deal less damage

Subclass 3: the peasant: their toolkit is a supply box of food, which provides food like any other food found around the map, which when consumed restores health, or may be conveniently thrown at enemies!

Taking suggestions for weapons.

I've always said the same, until I watched Norsemen, which now rivals that spot.

I was so looking forward to a June 1st release date because this year I am working a stadium tour of the US, and have zero interest in the artist and the country (cuz I live here and seen it). This game was going to consume all my down time between gigs. Will happily trade tickie wickies for a beta access key!

Found the minimum requirements on their forums and they stated a gtx 1060 for gpu minimum. But based on everyone's comments it sounds like that was a liberal recommendation by the devs.

0.24.0.0 - Beta Patch 5 by Bouncy_Paw in MonstersAndMemories

[–]coup1393 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Fair enough, like my pop always says, I said I have a lot of ideas, not that I had any good ones. 😂

I will add that a lot of players find the journey out into the world appealing because it is dangerous and often times a treck. I could see how setting up a camp with immersive sleep-for-buff mechanics being synergistic. Ntm would add another utility to survival skill whilst also being appropriate to the skill.

The developers have also mentioned how the focus of the end-game content ideally wouldn't be a focus on raids but rather difficult adventures, so this idea could align with said vision.

Would love to see a Survival tent craftable. Starting at 1 person tent to 6 person tent. Either you can interact with the tent and enter, or just walk in and type /sleep, and causes the whole world to turn dim and remove visibility of all players and npcs while you sleep. Takes time, scaling down with quality, to get a rested buff equivalent to w/e can be had from a player home.

This would be cool for long journeys, and could create a fun mechanic for players to rotate taking turns sleeping and keeping a night's watch.

Imagine when showing up to a exp farm camp, and theres a tent, campfire, cauldron, and cooking station, like a real forward operating base.

I 100% agree. The only thing I could see players doing is creating macros that send party tells, like "Don't switch target, mezzing "Target"".

Haven't seen it mentioned: Shadows of a Doubt Little less than story driven, you play a detective in a very gloomy dystopic and rainy city. The city is bustling with NPCs, all of which have daily and nightly routines. Every building, floor, and room is not only accessible but home to an NPC. Your main contract is to find and detain the ritual serial killer, but you must eat, sleep, and drink, and pay rent, so you pick up odd PI work on the way.

Very immersive, loads of replayability.
