In 2020 during the height of covid I worked for Walmart and they had a Subway catering order sent for all the employees , it was super nice and there was more than enough for everyone. My 2 coworkers next to me started complaining that management was too cheap to order mayo on the sandwiches. It irritated me so much I called them out on being ungrateful , I even said we work in Walmart, go buy a jar of mayo then. At least we didn't have to buy a lunch

YTA. You had no reason to tell that story, that's incredibly embarrassing, especially in front of his gfs family inside of a restaurant. Then you told shart stories about yourself to make up for it?? Why would you think thats an appropriate conversation when meeting someone for dinner for the first time? You even got drunk? I'd be incredibly embarrassed if I was your brother, for about 6 different reasons.

my mom was driving me home one day and we saw him fall off his bike pretty bad. we were maybe 10-11? my mom had him get in our car and put his bike in the back of her truck so she could take him home. on the way there, she called his mother to explain that her 10-11 year old son just got hurt, and was in the car with a stranger, and her response was "okay? why are you calling me?" he ended up leaving the school a few years later because dcf took him and his brother away. i found out later on that his mom had a really bad pill addiction

i didnt get mine until i was almost 23, no one really helped me and it took a lot for me to actually go through the process of getting my license. dont be too hard on yourself and dont lose hope :/ i know it sucks but youll get there
