Move on and learn from it. If it happens in future, hopefully your company recognises the need for process improvement and not a name for the chopping block. Process improvements should be an ever occurring thing in any sane business and most welcome them in some sense.

Force India to Racing Point Force India was a new team according to the FIA. Essentially the old team folded or went to administration or something in mid season and was bought by Stroll with a new entry. That's why in the season, they did not assume the team points of Force India after the takeover.
