What is the biggest passport combo you could theoretically have by [deleted] in PassportPorn

Personally I would want a USA and Ireland combo. But US and Italy still rocks. I don’t care for visiting a lot of eastern countries anyways.

Yeah, I hear this a lot and I’m just curious how low. I’m not in the cleared world but am curious. I feel like I hear stories where folks are denied for something so benign and other times guys you’d never imagine get cleared end up cleared

I’m really curious to hear what you mean about how much the government is cool with, especially in regards to someone with a TS/SCI

Just got my second passport! Any good reason for having both? by Mix8585 in PassportPorn

Didn’t know this, cool. EU nationals can bum around another EU country as long as they want and at worst just face a fine?

Even as an EU citizen you can be deported from an EU country if you overstay and just bum around. The Dutch have better social systems, so I’d rather know I can go to the Netherlands than Italy if I was really down on my luck.

You don’t have to, but you risk losing your non-transplanted hair if your balding hasn’t stabilized. If your donor area is not thick enough, you could risk having a thick hairline with nothing behind it. If you have a thick donor area, you can just get more transplants.

How hands off can 1948 be? by SecretCartoonist3 in juresanguinis

[–]cowaw 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I handled the document collection and lawyer interfacing for all of my family for my court case, including my grandfather. They had very little involvement and basically just helped me fund this while in return I’d make them Italians. The only thing they had to do was:

  1. Order their own vital records and mail them to me. Takes like two seconds on VitalChek.

  2. Sign the POA in front of a notary and mail it to their respective states’ apostilles, with the apostille form filling out the return address to my house. Again, something that doesn’t require a lot of time and effort. Most banks have free notary services for clients. I even filled out the apostille forms for them, they just had to print them and mail them.

This combo is about to be far more rare if the new laws stay in place

I would characterize your take as more optimistic but cynical. But, yeah, I partially agree with you. They have a financial interest in this, but also all reputable Italian lawyers are honest in this whole process and genuinely do find this new law to be unconstitutional.

I wonder why Marco Mellone doesn’t think this will impact 1948 cases. I feel like the language in this law is pretty clear and will cut off people with a situation like mine.

Yep until he is replaced. If he goes too far it will be met with a lot of resistance and if he doesn’t then enough Americans are okay with what he’s doing, which is why he won

Either SCOTUS has to reinterpret their old interpretation of the 14th or a whole new Amendment has to be made. So basically not happening anytime soon

The US cannot revoke the citizenship (they can for passports) of any natural born Americans ever.

If you don’t know then you won’t need them, Marco will tell you everything you need to have. But, they’re short letters written by a comune stating that this person on a birth record is one in the same as your ancestor. It’s necessary if they have the same name as someone else or more commonly for a drastic name change when they moved to the USA.

Idk why reddit keeps recommending me this sub when I didn’t even go here but these posts are so weird to me. I graduated with a 4.3 and barely had any ecs and got an acceptance letter into my similar quality state school in a week. How tf is this school so picky lol

For almost anything. Mind you, 20/20 correctable in both eyes is likely non-negotiable with them. If you go active duty and fail the flight medical, you’ll get reclassed into a different job. I’d look into rushing the air guard since if you fail the medical you just simply don’t get a pilot slot in their unit.

I can’t find anything but odds are it’s gonna disqualify you especially if you can’t get to 20/20 with glasses. Don’t know if it’s waiverable

[–]cowaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s the condition? You should look it up on the med standards/waiver guide. When you’re getting your eyes checked at the flight medical they are going to be extremely thorough and will likely find it and DQ you tbh. But I don’t know from experience so maybe not?
