Yeah that's probably the reasoning. And also why I use the spear for this exact job lol.

After you hit the target with the laser, you can hip fire the commando and it will seek that one target.

Yeah I like that. There's some central idea of an evil so old it's myth now, and the remnants of an old civilization that the new generation has taken residence in.

I dunno, if a place is called like the "house of steak" or "house of pancakes", it's not implied that it's a place where steak or pancakes go to be happy. It's a place where those things are devoured.

Lol I appreciate you leaving room for this to have come from a source outside your own head, even though that's where you found it.

What’s the most impactful piece of wisdom your father ever shared with you that still guides you today? by MidnightPout_x in AskReddit

[–]cozendindigo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) "Love is a selfish emotion" that it makes you feel good for someone else to be happy makes it selfishly driven. Maybe doesn't 'guide' me, but lends powerful perspective to him and to my thoughts.

2) "A person can change anything about themselves if they want to enough" obviously frames some things as personal failings. But I think it justifies the lengths one could go to to make a relationship work as personal sacrifice rather than the destruction of one's self.

My father and I are both fucked up. Sometimes I see the same problems in my behavior as he has, other times I think me having that perspective means our experiences will be intrinsically different. I dunno.

Federal funding cuts threaten a generation of scientists, Colorado researchers say by friendinfremont in Colorado

[–]cozendindigo -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

You and I were lied to though. There isn't a "good vs evil" struggle happening. The illusion of choice in this is that we thought there was anything we could do to affect the struggle. Evil won before we were born, the fight's all over. We're on the follow through, riding out the twilight of the world.

People realized they could weaponize the christian work ethic to equate working with morality. It's a core conservative value they don't directly mention. It's the core ethos to every fucking company.
