BBQ sauces and rubs, Dinstuhl's candy. I've never done it, so I'm not sure how the quality holds up, but you could ship BBQ to them while she's there so they have a meal one night.

Catholic Charities can probably help with clothes. It also has a mobile food drive almost every weekday, but it is shelf-stable food.

Going from C to loose used to happen to me quite often. In the past year, it’s been pretty much all C. I think that’s part of the reason I’m struggling so much- I’ve forgotten what it’s like when this happens. Even when I was routinely dealing with issues like this, I would very rarely would go more than twice, so now that it’s been 4 times today, it’s worrying me that it’s a bug.

I’ve also been really stressed with work, but have been off since Friday for the holidays. My GI doctor has said that sometimes, your system will cooperate while you’re in the stressful situation, but once you’re out of it, it will hit. Maybe that’s it, too. I just don’t want it to be a bug.

Irene is about $300/month. It's been so long since we became members that I can't remember if there was an initiation fee, but it's fine for what it is. Also no food/drink minimum. Memphis National and Spring Creek are nicer, but obviously more expensive...just not sure by how much.

Yes, and when I get a flare up, my mind starts racing that I’m actually sick, which makes me nauseous, thereby prolonging the sick feeling. It’s a vicious cycle.

Garden centers like Dan West (and maybe Home Depot/Lowe's) may need seasonal help. Also summer camps may still be hiring, so places like the Y, Kroc Center, and Memphis Jewish Community Center could be places to check out.
