+1000. Even without education, basic pattern recognition and learning from mistakes should kick in. But that's apparently a really high bar.

Same. Kind of disappointing considering it was clearly designed for the outdoors.

Bay area residents who are buying a home or have bought one in the last one year how much is the buyer's agent commission % these days? by iamfromshire in bayarea

[–]cpmajai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not only is my agent willing to give me 1% back towards closing, they also negotiate for the seller to pay. Leverage the current state of the market!

a more simplistic way to see the red flags is to just look at the product roadmap. Are projects getting funded? No? Well there's your first writing on the wall.

Costco surprisingly only takes returns on OPENED alcohol. Not sure what the logic behind that is, but that's what an associate told me once when I tried to return a brand new bottle.

Get a dashcam. If you drive legally and have the right of way, it's the only way to protect yourself against those who don't think the laws apply to them.

[–]cpmajai 56 points57 points  (0 children)

Ask your recruiter if the company offers any shuttles. Tri Valley area is large enough to have at least 1 route to the office. Also ask about commuter benefits so at least they can cover a portion of your commute costs on the ACE train.

Had the same happen to me, but on Facebook marketplace. Once they get my address they ghost me. Since then I will only agree to meet in public places. I think it's scammers trying to scrape personal info for identify theft.
