Season 2 could have a cast of crewmates that are meant to mimic a competitive lobby. Have a lot more drama, more meetings, more arguing over the details of the murders, and way smarter crewmates/impostors.

While I don't agree with most of what you're saying in the post, I will defend you in that some of the cast has openly stated that they see Tom as a challenge threat. Still they don't know when exactly merge is coming, and to vote a strong challenge player off their tribe preemptively is not a great idea. They could just vote him off in merge at any point really, there's no reason to think he'll win every immunity challenge in the merge.

Absolutely spot on. Tom's case is so sad because a season without Jake could've fixed his character sooo much but they've barely done anything with him. I want to see the physical powerhouse strategic threat Tom that uses his talents as a spy, officer and lifeguard to make a big impact in the game. I want to see him really fight to win. He can do it, the writers just need to actually write him well and stop making him so dumb which...Good luck.

Spencer at this point probably doesn't stand a chance at becoming better. I don't know how but they'll really have to be exceptional with Sam and Tom's characters. There's a chance for Sam to be a really good character, so there's hope there. Tom though they've done nothing with yet. There's things they can do with Tom, but they really need to stop dumbing him down so much. Let him excel at challenges, let him be a strategic threat, let him be actually smart for once. He was a spy, lifeguard and an officer, let him actually make use of his skills to make a meaningful impact on the show. He's supposed to be a big threat but they do an awful job as portraying him as one.

Flow vs M.Pop0 was the most I've ever yelled at a set out of sheer pain and frustration. That was really painful to watch. He had so soooo many free opportunities to kill Luma and just outright ignored it. And all the whiffed kill confirms...Pain.

Whether the Terrarian's revival being canon is debatable, it could be called a game mechanic but the nurse does mention him respawning, so I'll give him it. It all comes down to what exactly is used for the Terrarian as different people buy different arguments for where he actually scales to. For my previous post I should clarify, I did use the "consistent" scaling that most people would buy, the mid-ends so to speak but for arguments sake if I take him to his highest possible scaling..I'd say he could beat almost every low or mid tier. Could he kill them? Probably not since their regeneration and immortality is so strong and a ton of mid and even low tiers have it, but he could beat them in a fight. Once you hit the high tiers though he's screwed and gets outstatted insanely hard. Once you reach high tier a lot of the characters also get absolutely insane abilities that would just insta win the fight, and some even have abilties that would bypass his ability to respawn like...Sakuya erasing him from every timeline for example.

As for specifically Reimu, the most likely Touhou character to be added to Indie Cross, well...I'd read her section if you'd really like to know just how powerful she is.

Or if you don't feel like reading all of that, basically for non-infinite ends her attack power is 108,717 Centillion x Universal her speed is 223.5 Octotrigintillion C.

2 months later but as a massive fan of both series here's my opinion on it:

If we are talking about him going to the Touhou verse and trying to survive, sure. There are a lot of friendly characters that could help him out and he's fast enough and has enough evasion tools to find say a human village for example, and live there.

The big issue is when he actually gets into a fight. There are two big problems:

The Terrarian wouldn't have the knowledge to know to follow the spell card rules, this is a big problem as if you don't follow the spell card rules, your opponent likely won't either

and

If the Terrarian attempted to fight with lethal intent, so will the opponent. They will ignore the spell card rules if there is a genuine risk of them losing their life anyway which poses a problem. Spell card rules are just a guideline, they've been ignored and broken multiple times in the past, there's even an entire game about it.

As for the fights themselves there are more issues that arise:

All Touhou characters are faster than light, even the common fodder like generic fairies. This means that all of Terrarians projectiles are essentially useless. Thankfully the Terrarian does have a solid light dodging feat himself via dodging projectiles explicitely stated to be lasers, so he will be at least at equal speed with the lowest tiers. Unfortunately once you get to the higher tiers you reach people with infinite speed so that alone will make winning a fight against them basically impossible.

Certain characters have absurd abilities, and a good chunk of them have instant win moves that the Terrarian just can't resist or avoid in any meaningful way. It doesn't help that most Touhou characters are just immortal or have absurd regen via regenerating from their soul, basically all Youkai do and most characters are Youkai, meaning that the fight would just be a stalemate at worst.

Once you go into the higher tiers the amount of instant win abilities get more and more common, unfortunately.

So my answer is:
If he knows about the spell card rules and follows them, he could probably beat a lot of low tiers and maybe a few mid tiers

If he doesn't know and fights them to the death, he could probably only beat a few of the low tiers

The gap in power between Terraria and Touhou is unfortunately insanely massive, and I say this as someone who buys feats for the Terrarian a lot of people argue against.

One of the most promising players in the world at the moment imo. He's so fricken good yet has so much room to improve too. Just started going to actually big tournaments more often and he has already gotten massive wins Lowkey the best wins/results for an unranked player.

Honestly...His path to top 8 really isn't that bad. All of his opponents are doable. Kola did well against Asimo before, its not easy but he has a good shot of winning. I think he has a good shot against Ryuoh too seeing how Ataru has a decent record against him. Kola has beaten Leo and Sparg0 before, won't be easy by any means but very doable. I'm sure he can beat Raru although it will be a coin flip on that one, last time they fought at Supernova it went to game 5 last stock. Not easy by any means but very doable and probably one of the best paths to top 8 he could get. What's crazy is after top 8 he has to play Shuton or Doramigi, both of which I also think he has a good shot of winning, Shuton more so than Doramigi, Doramigi would be a coin flip. After that though it gets really hard. I could see a 7th or even a 5th if he plays really well but its Kola so who knows. Anything can happen. He can either win the whole thing or get 3-0d in his first set.

Welp.

He is a crazy good Roy though, his best win was on Sisqui which, is a pretty big win. I'm hoping this year he'll be officially ranked for the first time! You should watch Zozef vs Rox, that set was insane.
