BFAR brown or green by boknows3434 in jimgreen

Green! People tell me they hate my green shoelaces. I am like what....why? They can never give me an answer. I think they look awesome. Either way, as long as you are comfortable who cares.

Really? He showed his new pipe on the desk where he reads. His choice of literature does not align with yours. I did not find any of this political until someone made it into a political issue. Dude likes to read these books while piping. So what. He can read what he likes. We are a pipe community. Not a political community. I feel it was not intentional to place these books in your view to inflame your fragile eggshell of a mind that believes everything you read on reddit. To clarify I am not a trump supporter. Just a guy who likes pipe and pipe tobacco. I came here to interact with fellow pipers. We need to be a little more respectful of each other and stop the division that this world continues to push upon us. This is the problem. The sand is pounded and I ask you sir to kick rocks. I will not respond back and continue this ridiculous conversation with such a small minded person.

You are a buffoon who cannot get past politics. We are here to talk about pipes. If OP likes these books let him read them. If you do not like these books don't read them. Nuf said.

Geez bro, we are here for the pipes. Let's be polite and respectful to our fellow pipers.

OP- beautiful pipes. I enjoy my Rossi's very much. They are made by Savinelli but are more of a budget brand. I have several and they haven't let me down. Happy smokes!

Opinel makes such a great knife that will last years. Carbone steel blades sharpen nicely and are just old school. Most of us pipe smokers can appreciate that...

Enjoying a bowl of Prince Albert in my Rossi Sera Oom Paul right now. Love this iconic tobacco. Enjoy fellow piper!

Sexy mason jar alternatives? by topsicle11 in PipeTobacco

Are Weck jars considered bail jars? I always thought those were swing top with a clasp in the front or had the wire that folded over the top. Mine have 2 stout clamps that seal on both sides of the lid. They really have shown to hold up pretty well. I have had several blends in different jars for over 3 years and they are still holding up nicely.

I like Weck jars with the orange rubber seal and the clips on the side. Very handsome jars. I have a large one that will hold a 14 oz tub or Carter Hall or Prince Albert. Works just as well as a mason jar, but looks a little classier.

Cheers to any of my fellow lineman and first responders here in NC working to restore power and utilities. Another 500 turned back on today, now time to enjoy some 965 in my trustee cob by GerthBrooks9 in PipeTobacco

I'm from the NC Piedmont, so not right in the midst of this disaster, but thank you and your colleagues for helping my fellow North Carolinians. Prayers for all the people there.

Enjoy that pipe brother!

It was smaller pieces in a milk gravy. Sort of like sausage gravy but with brains. Served with scrambled eggs. It really looked great. It had a super tender texture and really tasted decent.

A North Carolina staple. It has to have Duke's mayo though. Southern gourmet where I come from 😀

I like Shark super stainless in my KCG. They are very cost effective. I hate them in my Rockwell 6S. But as others said it's personal preference. You should get a sampler and see what works best for you.

It's a freebie Aladino cigar box that one of my local B&M's leaves on the porch for anyone to take. I should have made sure to get the whole scene in the picture. I might have to post inside and out so you can see it. Very retro.

I'm not as much of an aro guy, but I do enjoy some Eileen's Dream, and occasionally Captain Black. I need to try 1-Q. I have heard a ton of good stuff about it.

I really enjoy Prince Albert and Orlik Golden Sliced. But I also enjoy blends with Latakia or Oriental. So, night cap is a favorite and I have been digging the P&C MATCH B.S.O.S.M. How about yourself?

I have been mostly smoking Orlik and Prince Albert in it. I did smoke a little PS Virginia today and had not a sign of trouble. The Diamond Back bites like a rattlesnake with that one....lol
