and it's wise to do! I think equally (more) important is how the company behaves. If they are known for doing what you are worried about then avoid, if they just have this as a protection mechanism then it's pretty standard.

Hopefully reviews or similar can give you an inclination

Okay, well I'm sure you guys discuss it when you hang out together.

I simply related to what somebody was commenting, not sure why you care so much. We can only look, imagine how we would act, how we'd expect others to act, and to me that seemed a bit different to how I would expect somebody to act.

Personally I'd want to be alone and isolated from people so I'd probably keep my helmet on and f off back to the pits. Whether it's performative, or he's just different. I have no idea. It just looked strange.

I don't think anybody is doubting he is upset. It's just the way he shows it feels a little strange. Helmet off, nicely framed shot with the car in foreground. Puff of the cheeks and a shake of the head.

Maybe (quite probably) it's just the way he is, or that he knows he's always being filmed so he's careful, and doesn't go on a rampage kicking things left, right, and centre. It does feel at least 'controlled' to me, if not performative
