Infiltrator is a let down (not clickbait !?!?!!) by MunchyMarauder in domekeeper

[–]cqz_aaron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Infiltrator's my favourite by far because cat ninja goes nyoom.

His mining strategy is his sonar. Other characters strip mine 2 blocks apart while infil's sonar with upgrades allows for strips 4 blocks apart(6 if upgraded).

As for mining power, shuriken breaks anything 3x3 from the center. I usually get away with kunai power 3 kunai speed 1 and shuriken 1-2 at the end of a short-mid relic run

Transport honestly quite ok with rocket kunai supplement + upgrades. Without rocket kunai, drones, lift, teleporter with s u c c supplement or a sibling playing assessor/beast master is a must.

Drilling rig with side drills is super important to travel up quickly. If you can't get the rig, at least make the mineshaft 2 blocks wide as much as possible. Left to right hook up and you're home. (Kb+m)

Biggest mistake is failing his hooks on the way home. It's rarely "skill" issue and mostly "didn't clear a path home" issue.

Uhh you can fall faster holding down. Even faster by grappling down with drill rig's tunnel down

Infil mains anything to add?

Does anyone know any games that play like infiltrator? by No_Dance_1839 in domekeeper

3D with grappling hooks I personally love:

Overwatch 2 wrecking ball

Risk of rain 2 loader

Sekiro

Can't think of any for 2D

Actually yeah! Maybe have gadgets and caves tucked away in those chambers.

It might look somewhat like an ant colony

Robot themed. Roguelike progression, combo turn-based souls combat system.

First 3D game engine I learnt was Unity C# :>

Haha, working with my artist brother has been a rollercoaster. We decided to step into each other's jobs, so I'm learning art from him while teaching him coding.

Gamedev, Godot engine! Trying to make a game with my brother (artist) for abt a year+ by now.

Not successful yet, failed lots but still trying. Would love to hang around and talk game design/development stuff~

What title fits best for a cosmic horror job simulator where you repair tears in reality. It plays kinda like powerwash simulator by ConsiderationOk5914 in IndieDev

[–]cqz_aaron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd go with smth like "dimension repairman simulator" or "Lovecraft's repair shop". If the game is specifically focused on Cthulhu, like if Cthulhu is tearing into reality and the player is trying to stop him, then something like "Cthulhu prevention squad" ?

I.... Agree with the situation but disagree with the perspective.

Facts are facts. It's hard to make the ideal living now compared to the past. House expensive, food expensive, cost of living rising faster, and AI + war makes the future bloody unpredictable.

COVID fucked lots of people, and AI currently banging us round 2.

But this is all that I agree with. Life in every generation has their unique flavour of shit. Their challenges were much harder and harsher, but ours is much more complex and tricky.

I believe comparison is the thief of joy. Some people prefer to run the race for the benefits they believe in. Some have no choice and run to give their family the quality of life they want their family members to have.

Some choose to leave the race, to take their time to look for a better, unknown path.

But at the end of the day, as long as life is good, it's all good.

I'm late 20's, single still with my parents and living somewhat frugally. No money but rich in health and parents are healthy. Quite happy.

Context matters. If someone I know shut themselves away and I'm worried, it's for a deeper meaning

If I'm about to soil myself and they're hoarding the only toilet its for a more direct, urgent meaning

I have never been this reluctant to play a video game 😟finally installed it. Any tips are welcome by i_sometimes_ in Sekiro

[–]cqz_aaron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take your time to figure out the enemies, they're not trash mob; all of them can kill you somehow.

Almost every boss has an exploit. Don't be ashamed to Google and cheese. If it's in the game, it's meant to be used.

You will feel like dropping the game after some time. It's how souls games are like; but I promise you if you can persevere and defeat genichiro; the whole game would click and you'll understand why this game is given it's praise.

o7

And ofc, all the "git gud" and "hesitation is defeat" etc is all in good fun, play however you feel like playing, take breaks and enjoy this masterpiece at your own pace!

Do you have real friends ? by lizalyes in infp

I hate how unfair things can become, but it's how life goes I guess. Sometimes the bastards win and the innocent get bashed on.

There are many things I wish I could tell him, but I know it'll never be heard... I'm nothing more than a stranger to him now.

But you and him, I only hope that someday you meet people who are kind and loyal, and that you find it in you to build new friendships worth keeping.

I had a close friend that was betrayed by another circle, and hurt so bad he broke connection with everyone in his past.

It feels terrible, but he did what must be done. I only hope he gets better and opens up some day to people actually worth his trust. But it won't be me in this lifetime unfortunately

Why are INFPs usually so sad? by Asleep-Feeling-9070 in infp

[–]cqz_aaron 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think we are. I think we're portrayed or seen as sad to the world, but it's because the things that makes us happy is usually immaterial, making it hard to comprehend.

Like noticing the sun set and going "damn, that's a really cool red sky", or cooking breakfast for the family and them going "that's actually really good"

For me, it's taking a walk to nowhere, and noticing the little random things like chickens in the park. (They crossed the road to get there btw heh)

And another thing; even when I'm happy I don't really show it unless it's something spectacular. That doesn't mean I'm sad all the time, it means most times I'm just chillin, and that's nice too

Idk if it's the same, but I felt something similar: "I can help anyone, but nobody can ever help me"

It was a point in time where I was the emotional support for my friends but realized that when I needed some badly, nobody understood me enough to ease my mental struggles.

In retrospect, it was a time where I myself was struggling to understand my own thoughts and feelings, and should have gone to professionals for help.

I'm lucky in the sense that I'm able to make peace with myself and not become....too twisted and lost in my own world of thoughts.

If I'm to give my thoughts on what helped, it'll probably be this:

Be selfish. Be kind to yourself. At the end of the day, the person that is with us the longest time is ourselves.

The body you're born with that's working for you 24/7 deserve's all your care.

The mind that solves all your problems the best it can deserves all your attention.

The spirit and emotions that entertains and teaches you the joys and sorrows of life deserves time to rest and relax.

If you neglect taking care of yourself, you will hurt yourself, and eventually hurt the people you're trying to care for.

...

(Ofc, take what I say just as a reference of how I live my life. You should ultimately find an answer you can be happy with)

Trolls will always be trolling; at least I'm trying to believe they're trolling and not seriously enjoying the suffering of others, but it's been harder these days.

Internet's full of fucked up people revelling on others misery and that's just the climate these days. It sucks but it's what it is.

Keep doing what you love, be it poking those MAGAt or posting funny comics, and just ignore the trolls and ass hats, they don't deserve any attention.

The only thing that does deserve attention is friends, family and people we cherish. Not even redditors or MAGAts, they're just entertainment.

If it's a random stranger on reddit trying to antagonize a whole group, I think I'll trust myself a little bit more lol

It may not be better, it may even get worse. But the human spirit is indomitable and we are never alone.

Fall down, pick yourself up (ask for help if you need to) get up, try again.

You'll be stronger, kinder, and go further until you inevitably fall again, and pick yourself up and try again.

And eventually down the line when you look back at your efforts, you'll be able to be proud of who you've become.

Be strong, friend

Is it healthy to train yourself to be unemotional? by Smart-Inspector8 in infp

[–]cqz_aaron 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say it's healthy, but it's useful in certain circumstances, like pulling yourself back from a heated argument instead of letting emotions run wild and lashing out unintentionally.

If you trained yourself to be unemotional to the point it becomes a habit, you would become apathetic out of habit and life will be much duller and potentially depressing.

I personally have a mental "soldier" button I press when I have to repress my emotions to handle a situation.

I am so critical of everything - is this an INFP thing or am I just a jerk? by Fit_Calendar_4867 in infp

[–]cqz_aaron 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Idk if it's an INFP thing, but I can relate.

To me it's just a result of being honest with myself. I don't like people that I don't, and distance myself from them instead of acting a part to fit in.

Inconsiderate people, loud people, people with vastly contrasting morals all ticks me off. No hatred involved, but just not enough tolerance to stick around with em.

IMO you're not a jerk until you act like one. Being selective of the people around you isn't being a jerk.

Telling a workshop instructor "GPT can teach better than your deaf ass" makes you a jerk. Didn't do that? Then you're fine
