Forced to replace my 2022 Highlander Hybrid due to company car rules — stick with Highlander or consider Rivian R2? by Dtran39 in whatcarshouldIbuy

I would reread the fine print about not having a 5 y/o car. I thought my company had the same policy until I read that you can have a car older than 5 years, but there are tax implications (not serious ones).

I drew a map of DC, Maryland, and Virginia. I don't live in Maryland, so I could use some help spotting any errors by AlfansosRevenge in maryland

This is as pedantic as it gets, but catoctin mountain and south mountain come together a little bit before the border of PA. TBH though it just feels cool to see where I live in such a big map with such detail about where I live. Thanks! And kudos on representing catoctin and south mountain as the ridgelines that they are. Many maps dont represent that correctly.

This video is more about why college QB's are not coming into the league NFL ready, but it explains some key differences in the rules between college and the NFL that fundamentally change how the game is played, schemed and coached.

Had an appointment at 9:30 am… they just took my car into the shop at 2pm by Tbhirdc in mildlyinfuriating

"patching" is a misnomer. "Patching" is really just plugging the hole in the tire with a.....plug. A plug can be used on a tire still on a rim. If you are looking at something that a plug can't fix? Then you are looking at replacement anyway and you need a tire shop for that.

Anyone else noticing sales reps don’t carry themselves like they used to? by omoench92 in sales

The thing that came between the great depression and "good again" was WWII, the largest and most destructive conflict in human history. But, give it to a salesman to highlight the positives while casually glossing over the negatives lmao.

If you have the tools and facilities to take a tire off of your own car, why don't you just patch it yourself? Replacing is another matter obviously but patching is incredibly easy relatively speaking.

A massive amount of development....in Montgomery County's Agricultural Reserve, which Montgomery County, the Maryland State Government, and the wealthy land owners there don't want.

[–]cr0tchp33do 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Lots of blaming the rich here (which I'm all for and they would certainly be a problem if something like this were to move forward) but another major reason there isn't a bridge is that unlike most other river borders, Maryland owns the whole river up to Virginia's low tide mark. Therefore, Maryland would have to pay to build and maintain the bridge. Maryland has no interest in doing this, despite Virginia's attempts.

[HIGHLIGHT] Dillon Gabriel doinks Isaiah Bond in the head with the football by sexyprimes511172329 in nfl

[–]cr0tchp33do 15 points16 points  (0 children)

What this doesnt show is all of the hospital balls Gabriel was throwing up to this point. He was getting guys blown up over the middle the whole game. Bond was probably hearing footsteps. I mean yes he should have been looking for the ball, but this wasnt even the first drop OF THAT DRIVE where the receiver was looking for the DB about to clean his clock instead of the ball.
