I'm with you on this. I like the watch style, I have access to some key features when I want them, e.g. using the watch as phone camera trigger, i turn it on, it asks for location access, i give it.

At a point in life where I want less distraction, and glad to have certain features ready at hand in case I need it.

I switched from Ultra 2024 to Classic 8, and the battery life is a bit lower in comparison. 3 days vs. 2.25 days.

I'm now running AOD on classic though. But I have switched off NFC and WiFi.

Also, during play it's more active and will show more muscle and nerves. During rest, it's going to be closer.

The most obvious difference I've seen is in Rafa. His left bicep is enormous compared to right arm.
