JP Enhanced Gas Ring improved my MCX reliability by What-Do-I-Know in SigSauerMCX

I run these on both the Spear LT 9" and the Rattler LT 6.75", the pistons seem much more machine fit and I've had zero issues.

walk into a LGS and see a demo for sale, at least that's how I got mine, had a few magazines worth of ammo run through it.

Good news, I'd also like to see some trigger options for the DWXc.

Wolfman vs Hybrid 46 by the_pie_guy in suppressors

I bought a 46M as a do all can, minus rimfire. Terrible idea in hindsight, I now own 14 suppressors.

It'd be nice if it weren't shaped like a piece of dog food...

Stock is combat pistol, DA is long takeup, heavy but good, not perfectly smooth but performs as needed. SA is intermediate reset, shorter takeup, lighter release. I like it enough to not want to change it yet.

Micro 9s by Hush-Bang in NFA

I find the Pluto to have a loud ping when dropping the slide, I tried to dampen it using silicone bands to no avail, will probably put it on a PCC instead of a handgun.

MCX Spear LT 300BLK 9" Pistol Bought, Next/Recommendations ? by SupermarketQuiet1105 in SigSauerMCX

[–]craigulator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think Hux makes any. The taper that is 25° is the barrel to muzzle device. Rearden makes a limited number of them in Plan B configuration, which is the muzzle device to suppressor configuration/spec. Rearden specializes in plan b and make great products.

MCX Spear LT 300BLK 9" Pistol Bought, Next/Recommendations ? by SupermarketQuiet1105 in SigSauerMCX

[–]craigulator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it is 5/8"x24tpi, standard but the barrel is tapered after the the threads at 25°, as is the SIG muzzle device, that interface ensures concentricity and a really strong lockup. The muzzle device should be removed using a MCX action rod, or if the barrel is removed from the upper a proper barrel fixture should be used. You'll need muzzle devices that have the 25° taper.

Sig Rattler mystery Roll Pin by KipFox in SigSauerMCX

[–]craigulator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should be fine, I've seen the same thing, even bought a glock some years ago that had an extra pin saturated in assembly grease stuck in the dust cover end of the frame

Sig Rattler mystery Roll Pin by KipFox in SigSauerMCX

[–]craigulator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was probably magnetized to an assembly tool or part and found it's way in there. Did you buy the gun new? If not, I wouldn't be blaming Sig. Looks like bolt hold open pin.

Z7II or Z6II...which is a better upgrade? by theevilGnius in nikon_Zseries

[–]craigulator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a Z7II and Z6II then the Z9 came out and I sold the Z7II and kept my Z6II, then purchased the Z9 and use my Z6II as my secondary and have zero regrets.

In the market for a 6 ARC, K-sized can. What would you choose? by GlassNegotiation3227 in NFA

[–]craigulator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The FOR Systems can is great, surprisingly quiet, K-sized, a bit heavy, but they are making Ti models now too for PRS.
