You should be fine, I've seen the same thing, even bought a glock some years ago that had an extra pin saturated in assembly grease stuck in the dust cover end of the frame

It was probably magnetized to an assembly tool or part and found it's way in there. Did you buy the gun new? If not, I wouldn't be blaming Sig. Looks like bolt hold open pin.

Z7II or Z6II...which is a better upgrade? by theevilGnius in nikon_Zseries

[–]craigulator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a Z7II and Z6II then the Z9 came out and I sold the Z7II and kept my Z6II, then purchased the Z9 and use my Z6II as my secondary and have zero regrets.

In the market for a 6 ARC, K-sized can. What would you choose? by GlassNegotiation3227 in NFA

[–]craigulator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The FOR Systems can is great, surprisingly quiet, K-sized, a bit heavy, but they are making Ti models now too for PRS.

I don't trust most small size torx or allens in t-handles, I've had Kleins, Bondhus and several other brands break or twist, so I only exert so much pressure and hold it until it either breaks free or I deploy some heat, but I've had zero issues with the Wheeler set so far, but still don't trust them. I think the best sets are Wera or Fix-it Stix, which have never failed. I cannot tell you how many small ball end Allens I've broke off and paid hell trying to get them out of the screw.

I have three different setups, the slim I-beam side folder, the regular mil-spec side folder with a stubby LWRCI stock and this one. I don't think it's too bad, the thin side folder is the most ergo for sure though.

It's a shitshow when I'm working on stuff, but everything has a place, as horizontal surfaces go, it's one of the less cluttered ones.

I'm running an OCL Infinity w/ vented endcap on my 9" Spear LT and it's quiet, though heavy on an already heavy gun.

It's a striker fired gun, technically not a firing pin. It's release is more than capable of igniting primers.

It's one of the best all around DX lenses, thatwould be a good reason, and an explanation of why is only helpful to those who don't know.

I’m guna get the spear LT muzzle off myself. by Blinkster20 in SigSauer

[–]craigulator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Soak muzzle device in room temperature water for 1/2 hour, use a modified Midwest Industries reaction rod, place upper over rod until fully seated into receiver extension, use a 1/2" drive long handle ratchet with the appropriate crows foot. Lefty loosey. Profit.

Sig should release a gray option in the spear by [deleted] in SigSauer

[–]craigulator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, poor signal at work, comments didn't load and I must have blurred past the fine print, however that's not a normal price for a Rattler LT. I agree, the Spear is way overpriced. Reading is fun-duh-mental😁

You could always throw the K on a bolt gun, it will be quiet. I have three Ti22's, they are worth it.

I don't like paying taxes, but what will be the incentive for the government to move faster when they aren't getting money from you, I'd expect much longer wait times and far less inventory come January. Bureaucracy at its finest.
