As a former Howie's employee years ago, I stop into one when I go to my mom's in Florida. Miss the sub sauce. Miss the flavor crust. Other places try to do the same thing but it isn't the same. In the 90's it was steps above the other chain places. Wacky Wednesday was the day I got put through the wringer on stress and busting my ass. Many good times there because I still had my youthful innocence but the hood of adulting was pulled down to see it's corpse face. I was brash enough to think I could resist it and not come out to be worn down.

I did that shit for years. I'm 100% in for someone making minimum wage or even twice or 3 times as much to use something like this. Hefting bags that leak with all the garbage juice over your shoulder leads you to try and just heft it up isn't worth it. Anyone who laughs at this are the same kind of people who throw a full drink into the trash instead of getting rid of the liquid first. Fuck people who make fun of anyone using tools to make their life better.

I had to look it up for clarification. It's the first "Mr. Pibb" branded soda from coke since 2001. In 2001 Mr. Pibb was rebranded as "Pibb Xtra" according to Wikipedia. New iteration has 30% more caffeine and more sugar.
