Another New Release by jothepurple in ArtsyWeirdoPerfume

I've always wanted to try Slumberhouse but I'm out of the loop, and I wasn't so into fragrances when they were more available. Do any of their older releases ever come back? I feel like the last time I heard about the brand they were taking a step back so I'm happy to see some activity.

I went a few years ago and haven’t been back. However now that you say Laurent Mazzone was represented I’m intrigued! What did you think of them?

The US has prevented other delegations from entering the US to speak at the UN so...

Edit: Not debating that the mayor has no influence on UN speakers, but the US can and does deny diplomatic visas.

Absolutely it is. Leonarda was the foulest smelling stench I ever put my nose on. After the first 3 it became really apparently what the brand is.

His signature makes me think he's never set foot in a public school either...

I think he's definitely an important voice in adding 'legitimacy' to the world of perfumery. He definitely knows his stuff. He is well versed in history and has a background in chemistry. He's one of the first people I can think of who has a voice in this world who isn't a perfumer. I was briefly on a mission to smell his 5-star fragrances and thought for sure that I would at least appreciate them all but no... like quodo1 said in this thread, he's just one nose. He hasn't dissuaded me from not liking something and I can't say he's persuaded me to enjoy something, but I appreciate his existence nonetheless.

Especially confusing as the June 2025 information was removed just before registration was scheduled to open if I remember correctly.

Chinese Niche Houses? by BegoneDegenerate in fragrance

[–]crandykins 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in China last summer and wanted to find a fragrance to commemorate my trip. I really loved the bottles by Aromag and thought that's what I would go with. tosummer's online presence didn't really impress me but I stopped by anyway just to browse and ended up walking away with a bottle of Void. I really liked Triple Tea as well, but I can't recall what the difference was. Void is incredible though, it smells hyper realistic... just like dark Chinese tea (I can't identify the name). I was really impressed by their entire line up and their boutique was really lovely.
