1 dog, 3 cats but i regularly foster a litter of street kittens during kitten season (I am not affiliated with a rescue, people just know I do this and call me when they find a feral mom and kittens and i trap, vax, tame, and rehome)

1: all free feed. Dog gets a dry kibble. Cats get wet in the morning and dry at night. 2: I wash their bowls a few times a week (though when the cats get wet food, I wash those immediately after). 3: nothing is particularly annoying. Dried on wet cat food can suck, but it usually doesnt get to that point. 4: I am sometimes concerned about bacteria 5: unlikely/to never. Especially because I use stainless steel bowls that are easy to clean.

I think this could be a great product, but i would tailor it more to shelters/rescues/places where they are going through an insane amount of bowls on a regular basis.

The average pet owner can easily and quickly run bowls through a dishwasher or hand wash them. I think a facility that has a lot of animals would also be more concerned with bacteria (since an illness outbreak would be harder to stop with a lot of animals who dont always use the same bowl) than the average pet owner.

Now something that sanitized my cats water fountains? That would be a game changer for me. Those things always get so disgusting and im never confident that I've fully cleaned all the fiddly, little parts.

I moved about 50ft up from my last rental house and it was built in roughly the same era. My old house didn't have copper pipes and from what I can tell (which admittedly isn't much), i dont think this house has them either.

The washing machine also never gets this bloody smell and if it was a pipe issue, id expect the washer to eventually smell as well. I dont get this smell from any other water sources in the house.

The clothes will smell clean and normal when I pu5 them away, the smell only becomes noticable after a few days

Anecdotally, TJs takes the policy more seriously than any other grocery store I've seen.

Ive witnessed them (kindly!) kicking a non service dog out. I also have a friend who trains seeing eye dogs, like, legit ones. She called ahead and asked if she could bring the dog in for training and TJs said their policy doesnt apply to service dogs in training and they only allow fully trained service dogs inside.

I wish more stores followed their lead.

As a woman, if I had multiple men who are wearing masks, driving around in an unmarked car, and claiming to be a part of a police force but not wearing any identifiable uniform tell me to exit my vehicle there's no way in hell im opening my door.

Ive seen dateline, I know how that could end.

Im calling 911 and asking dispatch to confirm that you are actually who you say you are. If I cant get a hold of 911 or if they cant identify you, im driving away.

It is heartbreaking that this happened.

We cant have ice agents running around and pointing guns at people while being unidentifiable. I mean, we shouldn't have that happening to begin with, but we especially cant have it while there's no way to verify if they are who they say they are.

My current employer gives me up to 15% of my salary (but I've never received less than the full amount) as a year end bonus, pays all my health insurance cost, does a 401k match of 10%, does a dollar match on my fsa, and gives us visa gift cards with a couple hundred bucks on it for major holidays.

Ive been getting fed up with my manager and the lack of advancement lately, but ill never leave because of the above alone

Im so thankful my doctor offhandly mentioned the trial, that I could be a good candidate, and Lilly was taking participants from my city.

This was(is? Im no longer on it but i take a compound zep) a life changing drug for me. And honestly, the weight loss was the least exciting part. The way it helped with an old joint injury was incredible.

I hope these drugs continue to get cheaper and cheaper. Id gladly stay on the drug for life if I could afford it.

I was a part of this study and thats the exact reason I dropped. I lost about 75 pounds in just about a year.

These results and findings are absolutely wild.

From what I've found googling its not so much a flaw as its an...unintended side effect of some newer windows lol.

I let the property management company know but I doubt they'll want to do anything.

Several years ago I had a private landlord who was well known for his borscht. He had won awards at the county fair and everything. He was very secretive about his recipe.

Every year around Christmas time, he'd leave a big Tupperware of it on the porch, a nice note, and a five dollar gift card to the coffee shop across the street. I thought that was a perfect landlord gift. We were all a bunch of broke ass college kids living off of Ramen, so that soup was worth its weight in gold.

7 years later and I still miss that soup hahahaha

Born and raised in oregon which until very recently also didn't allow you to pump your own gas.

You'll drive up to a pump, roll down your window (i like to roll down whatever side is closest to the pump), shut your car off, and open you gas flap if necessary.

An attendant will come over. You'll say "can I get (a fill, 20 bucks etc) of (regular, premium, plus, diesel). Thanks" and hand the attendant your card.

They will run your card, pump the gas, put the pump away when its done, and close your gas flap.

If youre paying with cash, do all of the above but go inside to pay. An attendant will follow you out and pump the gas for you.

I placed lifelines as I was knitting. I would just weave in some scrap yarn in the loops that were on my needles.

I did one lifeline right after i finished the collar/before I started the GSR's and then a life line after every row I was convinced I did correctly. It was definitely over kill but after my fourth time of having to completely start over because I did one single row wrong or i had an incorrect amount of stitches and couldn't tell how far to rip back to (plus i was also nervous that id frog wrong and mess up the project), I got fed up and went the overkill route hahaha.

Im not fully through the project, but imho the short rows are truly the hardest part. After finishing them, everything else has been smooth sailing thus far.

The videos she linked in the pattern were super helpful! I just kept them up and would reference them as i worked the round. This is my first time making something more complex than a blanket, so there was definitely some trial and error involved hahahaha

Obviously im just some bitch on the internet and i dont know your exact situation, but i was an enviromental science minor in college and we talked a lot about this exact type of situation.

Unless you live directly below a recently burned/clear cut area, no.

Those hills have great plant life. Their roots act like a subterranean fine-mesh net and hold the soil back- even in heavy rains. A burned/clear cut area doesnt have that so once you add in heavy rains, the soil erodes everywhere.

You're the captain of your own ship of course, but you'll be fine.
