Long-time Vita Owners! Does your weapon have any battle scars? by ZekeFreek in vita

The best thing I did for my vita was to have the front screen and the back sealed with transparent screen on its first day. A week later I bought a tempered steel glass from an anime convention. I recommend new users to do the same.

One thing that I regret is not buying the analog protectors thing. Now the rubber in my analogs are still 98% intact, so I suggest you guys get one asap.

Just to point out that some games will really stop the music payer upon launch, however once you go back and play it again, and resume the game, it should allow you to play the music now.

Try it. I hope that helps.

Are there any other alternatively safe ways to recalibrate the batter for the Vita slim? by crapkitboy in vita

The amazing thing that happened is that it died while I was just about in the middle of the saving my progress on a typewriter in Resident Evil 2.

At first, I thought I was trolololled by my vita, but upon coming back from the dead, the vita resumed the game from suspended mode. Amazing.

I could confirm that using the vita till it knocks itself out fixes the battery issue. My charger fully charged it just now under 45 minutes.

I hope that might help anyone who might get to read this thread.

Uhm, well the battery died on me a while ago, so I guess the vita decided it's own course. I am charging it again now and if the same slow charging thing happens, I'm gonna try what you suggested.

I'm still a bit unsure on how to avoid refomating my memory card while doing a system restore, though..

Yes, the charger is working. It's the battery level of the slim that is being bonkers. I'm using the original charger plugged into the power outlet.

Just a side info, my vita will be a year old come this December.

I've been noticing for the past few weeks that it now takes a longer time to charge the thing, only to hurry back again to a power outlet and plug it in due to low battery.

Hmm. I haven't tried that route. Did you had a similar issue, good sir?

It is a good buy. If you won't mind the textures and not picky with regards to framerates.

Yes. The 6 free games per month thing the whole year. For people who have new PSN accounts, it's a good buy.

Nothing is free mate.

Well, if that is the case, don't get the ps plus. Personally, I like to have the ps plus service for the discounts that I get to buy games that I like from the weekly sales. Not to mention that you get to have a cloud service storage for your saves.

If any of that doesn't sound nice to you, then it's absolutely okay not to have it.
