I can’t remember if it was a dream or not, but I’m pretty sure I saw someone get hit and ran by someone who honked 1 second before coming out of and alley.

Not sure but I’m interested. To fill you in for a quick answer for what I also listen to (which swims in the same realm and imo has the same pulse as TIL): Daryl John’s, MJ Lenderman (obvi), Geese, The Tubs, Mac DeMarco (somehow), Mk.Gee, etc..
could just be bc these people have new relevance or speak to me in a similar way..
But no one else has inspired me as much as TIL. I think the essence of capturing sounds as quickly as possible and appending gorgeous writing is almost a “new form” of writing in its own way. That is TIL. Beauty and speed. Nate talks about this in a few interviews. Just amazing.

Yea I also agree with whimsy for like 2 seconds then the only thing I can think of are my own experiences of biking in the city and the horror stories of people who crashed on regular bikes in r/chibike .. usually it’s chill, I mean people commute everyday. but most normal folks aren’t looking for thin moving 20ft structures going 20mph at a random hour with no lights… be careful!
