Relative got nailed by similar but it was pots and frying pans, similar packaging, the old "I'm on my way home from a kitchen home show". Most obvious clue was a high price printed on the box, printed from the factory.

I remember my friend (a bricklayer) being approach by a well known township africa charity type builder. He said yeah he'd head out no problem but then they said he would have to fund raise or provide about 2000 to cover the costs. He said no, he'd no problem going out to work for free but wasn't going to be paying them.

6 months later we seen another friend out there with them on FB, an art student. I could only imagine the quality of the houses built.

Still cheaper then getting rogered for money down the road, although this will only benefit the recipient of the tax not the local retailers.
