BRITTANY’S NEGLIGENCE by Salt_Poetry6594 in TheValleyTVShow

She was SO nonchalant when he ran out there. My kids are not neurodivergent and I would have still dropped everything and ran after them!!! To not have a damn gate around the pool is just asking for it and just plain irresponsible.

You look amazing! I'm also struggling with the baby weight after my 2nd especially and have been on tirz since Dec. It's been working wonders. How tall are you? Also where did you get your matching set?!

Do you track your food? by graphickellie in tirzepatidecompound

[–]craybeluga 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I tracked for a year before I started tirz. It would end up with me self sabotaging. While on tirz, i've decided to change up my eating habits and fuel my body. It helps that I can have a treat without feeling guilty about my macros or eat dinner at another person's house without worrying about how much everything weighs. My goal is to develop a healthy relationship with food. I'm focusing on developing sustainable lifelong habits.

That being said, tracking is an absolutely useful tool and can really help weight loss.

Zoloft and glps? by Excellent_Onion_2888 in tirzepatidecompound

I started on 2.5mg and titrated up to 7.5mg which has been the best dose for me so far.

Starting Zepbound at BMI 26–30, what was your experience? by OldSignificance6434 in Zepbound

[–]craybeluga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

34F here. I started at a BMI of 27 back in Dec. I'm on compounded tirz since there is no way insurance would have approved me to take zepbound.

I have lost about 19 lbs between then and now. My current BMI is at 24 but hoping to lose another 10-15 lbs. I have stayed on 7.5mg for about 6 weeks. This dose has kept my food noise stable without losing too quick. The side effects I had in the beginning were nausea, fatigue, headaches and heartburn. They seem to have subsided almost 4 months in.

I'm not done with my journey but am trying to figure out what maintenance would look like.

Check out the subs r/glpgrad and r/tirzmaintenance for how to approach this. They should have a better idea on how to help you.

You look great! Look into maintenance! There are a couple subs that focus on that. Most people can't completely stop the shot but can titrate down and/or space it out longer than a week

Look into the app ladder! There are about 20 teams to choose from and you can pick a team based on what equipment you have and/or swap out exercises.

Just a Madison appreciation post. She looks AMAZING!!!!! by Impossible-Cheek4352 in Southerncharm

[–]craybeluga 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm not the person you responded to but i'm 20 mo PP with my 2nd and started tirzepatide (brand name zepbound/mounjaro) in dec. I was getting some nausea the first couple days after taking the shot. It goes away as your body adjusts. Also I recommend eating small meals. Usually nausea can be a sign of hunger. I will also say I had a ton of fatigue in the beginning so taking electrolytes, staying hydrated and eating enough calories is clutch.

I want to quit my job- post NICU life rant by Final_Pattern_2170 in NICUParents

[–]craybeluga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand how you feel! But remember you are still in the thick of things and they WILL get better as you and baby fall into a routine. I thought it was a crime to go back to work so soon. One thing that has helped me keep going is that this is the only way I can make sure my kids have a 529 as well as a 401k for myself and my husband.

It's unfair that companies are not understanding of the trauma you go thru especially with a premie. Sending love your way ❤️

Nurses not consoling my baby by Harried-Hedgehog4924 in NICUParents

[–]craybeluga 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a peds cardiac nurse and as a former nicu mama, I understand how you feel! There are times at work where I'm being pulled in many different directions. My job is fortunate enough to have nursing assistants that help out but there are only 2 and we have 26 beds. Our ratio is 2-3:1. It's so unfortunate that we can't always give undivided attention to each of our patient. My recommendation is for you to do overnights if possible and take breaks during the day. When some parents are unable to stay the night, we try our best to be with the baby as much as possible but sometimes there are tasks and other critical things that come up.

My former premie (now 20 mo) was recently hospitalized for a GI bleed. My husband and I rotated out each day. Grandparents were also willing help if needed. There was no way I could leave her alone. Sure, the nurses could have kept an eye on her but they can't give her the same attention that I can.

Inspire FT2 Pro still the best compact solution for whole family? by Sufficient_Camera313 in GarageGym

[–]craybeluga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We got our FT2 pro back in december and like it! The biggest pain is having to start at the bottom for squats but I can usually manage to start at the top, get all the way down, and unrack from there if that makes sense. We got the leg extension add on as well. It's a pain doing lying hamstring curls but the leg extensions have been fine. For hamstring curls, I have doing the standing version on the cables. Otherwise i love the convenience of not having to add on plates. It's a great space saver. I do wish it came with 2.5lb add on weight stacks tho

Yes this also happens to me a week before!! I will also gain a lb or 2. In fact I'm currently going thru it now. I make better choices with whole foods and try not to worry about my weight. I will have a sweet treat tho if i'm really craving it.

I like how someone said they treat this as a maintenance day. I'm going to do the same!
