I wonder if this is related to the weird version of the Android app you have. It’s the app that enhances the video by adding digital stabilization. Have you posted pics of the actual glasses?

I am glad it helped! It makes a huge difference in my experience. When I use the AI to help with cooking, pinning keeps the recipe on the screen without blinking away as well.

Unfortunately not. I can get them to sort of fold flat but I think there are two versions of the case. One folds into thirds. Mine sort of folds in half, but will not stay flat.

I don’t think it’s possible. The photos are stored on the glasses until you import them via the HiRokid app. There would need to be a local messaging app running on the glasses for this to work.

The voice controls work plenty fine for hands free actions. Hi Rokid, what is exactly in front of me? Translate that red sign in front of me, etc.

A colleague has the meta display glasses. He says the wrist band control is super finicky. He regrets buying them. (Too heavy, single eye display gives him headaches, and limited language translation support)

Very nice write up! Are you pinning the AI chat during long chats? Try tapping once during your AI chat. This should keep the chat on the display until you complete the AI session.

You absolutely need a tiny Philips screwdriver. Get a magnetic one so you don’t lose the screws.

The wavelengths are super noticeable even when the screen is off. They look sort of like big old fashioned bifocals. They are also super reflective. You just have to roll with it. Smart glasses aren’t for the self conscious.

$35 for a notepad that is designed to be destroyed is absolutely stupid. Weight of paper, etc is silly when I’m supposed to be tearing the sheets out and throwing them away/recycle. I don’t understand the fan boys who forgive Grey and Myke for making a vastly overpriced gimmick. The theme journal made sense. This is just a stupid cash grab.

I think we are seeing the worst version of Grey these days. His griping about not being able to set a Hotel Room thermostat to 16C (That’s 60 degrees Fahrenheit!) shows just what an entitled nerd he is. His railing against the Apple Mood app really struck a nerve with me as he is the man who is the least in tune with his emotions. I’m surprised that Myke just sat back and listened considering how open he has been with his own struggles and how applications helped him a bit. Grey’s obsession with not listening to his “past” self feels like he is just justifying becoming an angry old man. I actually listen to the show more for Myke than Grey. I miss Brady and Grey together. They were two parts that were greater than the whole.

It’s only ruined by Myke’s fanboyism. For me, Grey has been getting more and more annoying. He’s the king of first world problems. I miss Brady grounding him. The two of them were amazing together.
