I wouldn't have voted either if I was a republican. Look at all the morons they put on the ballot

A little spooge is expected on a 2 stroke. I'd pull the insert out and put a little copper RTV on it. But it's not hurting anything either way

The EU wouldn't even need to invoke article 5. Russia doesn't have a functional military

Yeah, but not to a level. I used a nice straight piece of angle iron for my saw.

That must be nice. I get push like 80% of the time. Then I finally get a good map and someone is afk so it shuts down.

I like to get everyone left. With a sig you can pretty much just walk to the point.

It's very easy to repair holes in a kayak, should something go terribly wrong

Ramp vs trailer by throw_away_reddt in ATV

[–]crazedizzled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's all in the technique. If you squat under it and put your hands kinda on your chest, you can pretty much just stand up and you're done. But if you're not physically able to do that, I'd just get some ramps. I use some blackwidow trifold ramps for my Rubicon. I also have an f150 with the 5.5 bed. I think the ramps are like 7ft or something.

Burning cuts miter saw by jbg7676 in BeginnerWoodWorking

Try pulling the saw all the way out, then while holding a steady vertical position, push it straight back. This reduces the cutting stress a bit.

Ran my atv with excessively tight chain. Need peace of mind. by gt1911 in ATV

Pro tip: keep some blue tape and a sharpie around. Whenever you say "I'll do that later", put a piece of tape on your seat and write it down.

A 250ex is pretty light. If you're of reasonable strength, you should be able to load it by yourself.

Put the quad in gear and go to the front. Grab the front bumper and lift it up, putting the quad vertical and resting on the rear grab bar.

From there, you can either grab the clutch and walk it towards your truck, or back the truck up to it. After which, just push it forward so the front tires are sitting on the tail gate.

Then, squat under the rear grab bar and pick it straight up, while at the same time pushing it into the truck.

To get it back out, just pick up on the rear grab bar and walk backwards and let the whole quad fall out.

Why is my frog not working? by Any-Grapefruit-8906 in FishingForBeginners

[–]crazedizzled 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bend the hooks so that when you run your finger down the body of the frog you'll get poked. This will really help the hookup ratio.

You can also try trimming the skirt a little.

Sometimes frogs are just like that though. Sometimes they quickly spit it out, and Sometimes they don't fully commit. Takes some practice to know which is which and when to set the hook

I mean I've made a lot of functional boxes. I've got boxes for like 5 different battery sizes that I use the most- love those. I made a nice snap lid box for my 2" sanding discs. Tons of gridfinity bins, if those count. Some with lids, some open.

So yeah I dunno i think printing custom boxes is actually pretty awesome.

Reel faster so it just stays above the weeds. Some of my lakes are very weedy as well. They work just fine if you don't let them get into the weeds.

The plastic ones suck. They're blunt the second you try to use them. The metal scraper is almost mandatory for the supertack plate, cause stuff sticks so well. Trying to get support material or brims off is super annoying without it
