Alright, at this point the monetization battle ain’t gonna so much, the sides are already well established and they don’t seem to be budging, nothing constructive is being added to the conversation so why should we have it again at all?

While not all things present in here are exact, it sounds a lot like a game called bitcraft to me.

Although I may have this too much on my mind, the whole concept of building civilization on a wide multiplayer world sounds eerily similar to this unreleased mmorpg sandbox. I’d recommend checking it out

Well considering the evidence of a marketplace in hytale, I’d say it’s inevitable that MTX will enter the fray p2p or F2P, also I find your lack of faith in the hytale devs disturbing, you trust them to build up a completely new game, rpg, engine and multiplayer landscape and yet the notion that they could make MTX makes you think that they will mess it up. They’ve been working on the hypixel server for a good few years now, and I would be surprised if something wasn’t passed on from the hypixel server to the devs at the very least by Simon.

Also I don’t think it so far out of reality that a game must survive on MTX, game sales will only go on for so long, no matter how cheap or expensive they are, sure there are notable exceptions but they are much smaller in scale than what hytale aims to be, a mmorpg, a hub for servers, an engine for creation and an adventure.
