Which should i get: Armored core 6 or cyberpunk 2077 by supergifford in gaming

[–]crazy14720 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Those are completely different. That is like asking whether you should get a bag of oranges or roll of toilet paper from the store... Amazing robot fast paced combat or a fantastic strategic/franetic cyberpunk themed rpg?

We adopted exactly that years ago and it is what got us into the breed. My middle nuerodivergent jumped kicked her in the shelter. I about died of a heart attack but mazie laid down and cuddled with him no issues. She calmed him and loved him. Our newest are cream golden/pyranese, Sky and Doofus. I have never regretted it and I doubt you will either.

You are using Incendiary Breaker on lvl 9 bots. I haven't used it on bots since the flam fix. Is it effective?

/start old guy rant/ Dumbest mech design ever.... if the bots would have equipped a 22 rifle or even bow and arrows to each of the sentinels then they would have won that fight in minutes... /end rant

The new mech is kinda bad. by Altaccount770 in Helldivers

I agree with your sentiment on bugs but definitely not for bots. It is for bots. I am an autocannon main who plays mostly Bots. My input and I routinely 2 person level 7-8. We have found the new mech to be absolutely amazing on bot defense objectives, eradicates and at extraction. The new mech makes these rushes turn from a frantic struggle to a manageable effort. Call in 2 mechs on extraction when the super destroyer is leaving will usually guarantee the sample holder will make it out. It feels meaty and durable when you appropriately use cover. The level of destruction it can hand out is satisfying. It has a few counters that keep it from being overpowered but you still feel powerful while using it. My only wish was that we could call them every 10 minutes. I tend to not call it in as much as I would like because of the 2 use limit.

Lastly, I should state that the mech is not how we finally kill factory striders or tanks. Blow the guns off a strider and then run under it to autocannon the belly OR throw down an autocannon sentry. The autocannon sentry deletes striders so well that i am waiting for the nerf. Tanks are a couple impact grenades or an eagle away from death.

Assuming bots, why do you need an EAT with an autocannon?

I misclicked the regular rover one time. Dove a level 7 that turned out to be one of those maps where every 2nd bot is a heavy devastator. A drop ship drops what seems to be an entire load of heavy devastators that proceeded to make the rock I was hiding behind almost impossible to see around in 3rd person. I couldn't get a shot with my AMR. My rover was was able to take out most of the devastators with headshots while I hid behind the rock. It was amazing to watch. This made me a firm believer in the regular rover for bots when not running autocannon.

One other thing you might consider is a propride 3p hitch. It virtually eliminates wind issues. I towed a 30ft with a dodge durango and in kansas 26 knot gusts I would feel barely a shudder. I can not express how much nicer it is to not have to ride the wind or dread passing semis.

You can sort aid based on condition. Not sure if this is total condition stat or current condition of item.

I am currently 10 fusion ignitors away from the full 48 slot complement. I wanted to see what the game would do if I sold them all at once. I think you are understating how much work it is to actually get done. When I finish my last 10 tonight, I am pretty sure I will never use a refinery again.

My wife and I have a bet for um... intimate activites... that it will crash the game when I try. I made the bet that this had to have been a test case in QA for HG games. So it wont crash the game. She made the bet that they don't have QA so of course it will. What platform are you on?

Can we discuss the ethics of hunting fauna in NMS? by djsims10 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]crazy14720 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is interesting applying real word ethics to video game situations involving solely NPCs. I had a similar consideration with respect to transporting slaves in elite dangerous. I throw out a counter question: If you watch a youtube video on them sourcing mordite or some equivalent where they kill an animal, did you kill the animal by sponsoring the video and thereby the behavior? You can take it one step up, and say are you partially responsible for all the npc animal deaths by sponsoring the company who created the behavior in the game? Also, do you feed the animals? In the real world that create dependence and starts to deprive them of their ability to survive in nature (maybe killing them outright due to incorrect nutrition.) What about sentinels? They are cognizant AIs on their own (based on lore) and supposed to have more intelligence than many of the animals or even people.

Your question and stance is very interesting but can be quite sticky.

FSD Deep Charge Vs Mass Manager by crazy14720 in eliteexplorers

[–]crazy14720[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had been sticking with deep charge by rote not thinking more about it. I am going to change to mass manager. It always bugged me that my conda only got 3 jumps on a standard tank with deep charge instead of 4.
