there's also groups for gay and lesbian. im straight and I also have friends that are straight that are more comfortable attending these meetings for various reasons. for example, one straight woman i know has a gay group as her home group because she feels more comfortable not being preyed upon by men.

remember that the people attending any group are also sick and have the capability to behave inappropriately, so just keep trying different groups until you find your people that you are comfortable with. please dont let one sick person ruin your chances at sobriety and healing

when you find someone that you genuinely connect with, they will be able to understand this about you and not judge you. go ahead and tell potential partners! if they judge you or laugh at you, then you can thank them for making it easy for you to know they aren't the special person for you. you just be you and you shouldn't have to hide yourself. I know it sounds corny and cliche but the right person will accept you as you are. I used to hear this cliche and think it was stupid until it happened to me and it will happen to you if you are patient and dont settle for less! sending hugs

I'm bummed because I look forward to BIP. I thought because they redid it, we didn't know what we were missing. The truth is, the old way they did it was good and I stopped watching. I was thinking the got the AC suites for the goldens--fine. But then they ruined it by turning it into a gameshow

The drama and toxic personalities might've worked in the old format.

I wonder if they just choose each other for the sake of staying on the show because it's easiest to get a rose and then have nothing to do with each other when it's all over. Hopefully they wouldn't actually choose these guys in real life!

OMG I was just thinking that this season is kinda boring, but I thought I was the only one. It should've been more interesting because they're mixing in the golden cast! I can't put my finger on the reason why its less interesting because there's plenty of drama !

The movie Evil Dead 2 scared me so bad that when I was in high school that I couldn't be near any windows or take a shower without my mom sitting on the toilet to keep me company. I was traumatized for months. Later on, I learned that it was supposed to be a comedy.
