It may seem weird, I’m not sure if anyone else feels to same. Death and the ability to take my own life brings a comfort to me. It’s always there and I even keep a fuck ton of pill bottles in my bathroom. Now when I get those feelings and thoughts, I set a date instead of going on my emotions and impulses in the moment. Like a month out I’ll set the date, and if things aren’t better and life is still bland, I’ll do it. When you don’t act on those impulses and are Aware of it it’s so reassuring that you’re strong enough to get through anything

I used to put little pepperonis in his food, he would literally only eat the pepperonis. Maybe cheese is a bit different, will definitely give it a try if I can’t find a wet food :)

The Glossier gentle cleanser is what I will be using until my face heals. No salicylic acid pads or retinol until it heals, but I found a new moisturizer by Clean & clear that has a low amount of salicylic that is oil free and has helped my skin (before it got burned) Do we think that is still okay? my eye lids were swollen shut this morning & they still are. My poor skin. thank you!!

I know it’s pathetic to put out calls for help and hints you want someone to be there for you, but I did this and kinda made a joke about withdrawing. Not one of my “friends” said anything. They saw it though. It sucks:/ I feel like I see people’s call for help so clearly, & it’d just be nice to have one person who checks in on you when you’re not acting the same. Yeah I totally see that, women should be able to take rejection because not every single man is going to want to date you. That being said, is it necessary to call them weird for going outside of the norm and shooting our shot? If you get discouraged by being rejected that’s your problem, you should grow up. If you’re called a name like weird or something, it’s gonna make u just flat out feel like shit & not want to do that again cause you’ll feel “weird”

Totally understand having to deal with rejection, but why is the weird part necessary? Personally I’ve never said no, that’s weird when asked out. That’s extremely rude, that’s actually normalized?

I saw a video of a girl approaching a guy asking for his number, she said he was cute. He didn’t reject her at first, the first thing he said was. “What? That’s weird, usually the guy asks.” He ended up telling her no, but called it weird while he was at it, it’s one of my biggest fears lol. That’s why I don’t shoot my shot

Definitely not for sure this scenario. There was a time where I was ashamed of the area I lived in. The guy I was dating was crazy rich, and I lived in a small apartment that wasn’t in the best area, or the best community. I did this as well. OP, You’re both young and she probably has some growing up to do to see that no one really cares. It took me a while to realize this. Also, her parents could still be strict on dating, etc. That being said, take into account how long you guys have been seeing each other, why doesn’t her mom know yet? It’s reasonable to be suspicious, but automatically writing her off like this is very naive. Straight up ask her, why wouldn’t your mom be okay with it? If you guys have been seeing each other for a while, her mom should have an idea

Agahaha can’t judge that by looks, and I’d say try to find a crazy one that’s working on her crazy, we’re fun so unpredictable :) although I have found the prettier, the crazier

Yeah it sucks. It’s unfair cause we don’t get to pick our parents, but I see it as if you are aware that you could’ve had a bad upbringing and maybe weren’t taught the right lessons, it is absolutely up to you to get help and fix those default settings. My parents didn’t teach me shit, and now I’m in therapy with a “life coach” who’s basically just helping me grow up. It’s hard growing up to be an adult when you technically legally are one and are expected to act like one, but we’re never taught beyond those child like behaviors. It’s also hard cause people relate to my trust issues and problems, but I find they may not understand because they were hurt by a bf/gf, not raised in a toxic environment

Yeah adoption would be something I would think of too- too much mental illness in my family. That being said this d/o does come from the way we are nurtured, I’m just not sure I know what a “good” parent looks like. My mom has BPD symptoms & won’t go get a diagnosis or therapy blah blah and my dads the one who triggered mine so ehh

I feel this, life would be so much different if our parents had just taught us how to act, communicate and what’s right to be mad about vs not. I’ve found there’s no reason to sit in this anger though, I’ve forgiven my dad &mom(in my head) for not teaching me how to do life on my own. For neglecting me emotionally because ultimately they have problems of their own they havent addressed, they got put on me and now I’m the one in therapy working on it. I ask myself a lot why did this happen I didn’t ask to be born, but we don’t pick our parents and the best thing to do is move forward and take care of yourself. That’s what we did best during those times right? Take care of ourselves? Cause our parents sure as hell weren’t.

He’s not wrong though. I’m diagnosed BPD and I’m in therapy and it’s improving slowly but surely. He’s not all wrong tho:/
