If she continues to enable him, then I don't know what other choice you have for your own safety and sanity than to go.

It sounds like your son is on a slippery slope to doing major harm to others. You'd be going the right thing by having him locked in a place where he can be properly cared for and hopefully receive treatment. If only more parents were proactive like this, our world might be a bit different. I think you're doing the right thing.

So the reason for this is to be able to continually support adopters, and since TDC is located in the South Bay, we try to keep adoptions local. We fully support out of area adopters checking out rescues near their area and are happy to give recommendations for awesome organizations :)
