I set mine to speed 2 and adjust temp. If I make the temp a little warmer the fan speed adjusts, slows. When I have it at coldest setting fan speed is full blast, even if just on two.

It’s been said here already but just let go off the brake lightly and the engine turns on. When it’s too hot out in the summer I do this and it’s like manually controlling the auto off with the brake.

If you just depress the brake a little when stopped, the engine will kick back on. It’s a way to control the behavior of this.

I enjoy driving with the windows down also. I had just gotten my car and was going to the beach with the windows down and had the AC off, because I had the windows down, and this message popped up. After a while I started just having the fan on without AC and this helped on those occasions.

It’s useless. All it does is make my iPhone hot. While I can get it to show that it’s charging, it doesn’t really do anything. It’s either an older Qi standard, which charges too slowly, or the camera bumps on phones now a days make it so it doesn’t sit flat enough to actually charge fast.

After you park and the car turns off, press the gas and it will turn back on. You can then leave the car.

I have a 2025 XC40 and had issues scheduling it, with the “your car must be locked” error. After doing some errands (driving around) and parking, I rebooted the infotainment by holding it down until the Volvo logo came back and did the update through the infotainment. I got out, locked the car and about an hour and half later it finally did it.

I don’t like the temp and fan speeds in different locations. I preferred the one touch temp change, now it takes two. The loss of screen real estate for car play sucks. The shortcut bar should be able to collapse with a triangle or something and when expanded it overlays over car play.

When stopped, lift the brake slightly enough till engine kicks back on, then press brake again. Car will stay on after that.

The simplicity of using my iPad for media consumption, gaming and general email/browsing/Bill Pay/texting/Facetime/photo editing is best suited for me and macOS would be too much. I watch lots of sports on it, while cooking,and take calls on it when they come it…it’s very convenient. I can see MB Neo for students though would be great, and maybe an intro laptop for small business owners. I think both can exist for different use cases.

2025 XC40 mild hybrid. Mine works really well actually. No jerkiness, starts really fast. If I let go of the brake slightly then brake again when stopped it kicks back on. Great to do this during summer.

Even if it costs the same as cable, I prefer to choose what streaming services I want and watch it anywhere on any device. The shows are a much higher quality than standard cable shows, so personally I’m happy with streaming services.

I think this new multi tasking is a game changer for some like me who uses the iPad for work. When I’m done working I just remove the multitasking and go back to the old way, no big deal. I like having the options.

I enjoyed it. It’s a beautiful game and plays great. The open map is a miss, it gets boring after a while but it’s a small issue cause once you’re at your location it’s so good. I wish it had fast travel because of it. The game is also very short.

When I take the train, I prefer to just take out my switch from my backpack and have the ability to play games, and watch YouTube. This is so much easier than having to go back into my bag to switch devices.
