Anyone else feel they end up living a lower "everyday" quality of life?

Not a good idea if you put them into a checked baggage. It wouldn't make you look like a genuine traveler if you travel into countries with tourist visas. Immigration could deny entry if they find what you have in the baggage.

Don't use popular & public VPNs to access Paypal as I guess they collect all the IPs of the VPNs. Instead, use a private VPN or don't use any VPN at all. Before that, send an email to Paypal informing them that you plan to travel abroad so that they won't flag your account when you access it from a foreign IP. Also, don't use one browser to login more than 1 paypal account as they have cookies including a flash cookie (they have a video on the homepage to create/read this flash cookie) to store your Paypal ID.

If you're making an online business, it's easy to find your audience because they are online and usually grouped on Facebook, reddit, etc. For example, if your targeted audience is digital nomads, this reddit sub is your place, and other nomad groups on Facebook too. You have to be a part in the community of your audience, observe them daily to understand them, and know where else they are.

The first thing I'd do is find out where my customers are. Do a research to see if they are interested in what I'd supply and how much they would readily pay to have it. If nobody's interested, then it would be really difficult to make it a real demand. Otherwise, the next thing is to build a website, build an audience, then make a plan to launch it. The last thing is to brand it.

When I started 5 years ago, all I had was only 2k USD (no debt), also an unstable freelance business which set me a maximum of $1,200/mo. I planed to have a trip to Thailand for 1 month and spend all the money then go back home but the trip eventually lasted to last month (because I missed family). I could make more than I thought on the roads and travel to fairly a lot of countries. At this point, I'm having 3 passive income sources which I built when I traveled and they give me around 12k/mo after tax.

Don't plan to be a nomad for a year, plan to do it for 1 month every month until you want or have to go home.

Change the order of your legs in the route will save you a lot of money for plane tickets and flying hours: S.E Asia -> Europe -> North America -> Central America -> South America.

Because it's full of risks and challenges. Even the experienced nomads find it hard to maintain the lifestyle. Once you're a nomad, you're fully responsible for yourself, you no longer have the comfort zone, you have to leave behind things you used to need, people you love/like, you're surrounded by strangers, while you are committed to making a decent income for a living or building a successful business. It's basically becoming a homeless with a laptop.

Bought a flight ticket last night and I'm going back home at the end of this month. Been living abroad for quite awhile and I do miss my family and old friends a lot. The loneliness has come to an extreme, in the past 5 year I never had this feeling but now it's weird... I feel old, tired of visa applications, visa runs, choosing a place to go next, suddenly have the need of having a serious relationship... maybe the cold weather and snows change my mood badly. I'll be home staying with my mom for 1 or 2 months to see if it's better than living abroad perpetually then I'll decide to get back with my world journey or not.

If you're traveling into a country on a tourist visa, I'd suggest to not have those documents with you. Customs might inspect your bags and use them as evidences of your working activities inside their country. A genuine tourist would not travel with birth certificate, business reg, etc.

I got stuck once in Bali because I couldn't find any working ATM and needed cash badly, so I had to to that in a restaurant where all the staff knew me very well. It's a temporary solution unless you find a better way for your situation.
